First time ordering here! Pizza with great crust/aroma. Just enough char, lasagna with great sauce and eggplant parm was hit! Calamari pretty good, I’m sure if we were able to eat it hot and fresh, it would get 5+ stars. We will come back! And maybe will just eat in the car!

Service, atmosphere, selection of dishes. Enjoy Napoli's for a nice dining experience. Cloth napkins and table cloths, stemmed drinking glass, and an included bread dipping component before the meal. The pasta combination plates are a bounty, and generally portions are genrois. Fish dishes I've had were good. The house salad dressing is a delightfully acidic tomato vinaigrette.

Second time we have tried this place. Did take-out. We decided the first experience was not a fluke...THIS IS THE BEST ITALIAN FOOD IN LINCOLN! Hands down the BEST. We have eaten at all the others in the last 15 years. No doubt this is better than them all. Food is cooked perfectly...period.

Napoli's is pleasant and has done a fair job converting a BBQ space into an Italian restaurant. The decor was appropriate and the music was both light and properly Italian sounding. There were a wide variety of dishes from baked pastas, to inexpensive sauced pastas, to high end seafood and steak dishes, along with an assortment of pizzas. Flavor wise, it was pretty conservative. I had to ask my guest if my taste buds were off because I wasn't getting any zing or intense flavors, but they agreed. It is a safe palate and has room to expand on bringing out each dish's signature flavor. The menu didn't mention the fact that bread and a side salad or soup was included with our pasta so we ordered mozzarella sticks to start, which ended up being quite a bit of food by the end of the meal. If I had to ask for one area to be improved upon, it would be to train the staff more. They were very pleasant and strove for proper etiquette, but missed on a few of the basics. Neither my soup, nor my pasta came with a spoon and I had to ask for one twice. Both times the spoon was brought out on a plate and I felt a bit guilty dirtying an extra dish just for a spoon. Also a server asked to borrow our parmesan cheese to refill it at 7 p.m. before our meal had arrived and never returned it for our food. I took one from another table which made it through the dinner, but then they came and asked to take that one as well when we were ready to pay. Generally you'd wait until the customer is done to take their seasonings for side work. Lastly, my water glass sat empty for about 5 minutes and I had to request that it be filled. All of that is easy enough to fix and the waiter's politeness made up for it. We'll be coming back in a couple months again to hopefully see the kinks ironed out.
