I went to Stauffer's cafe and Pie Shoppe for lunch/but ended up eating breakfast instead. I found the breakfast to be delicious. My compatriot has the meatloaf and said that it was amazing, much better then she thought it would be. My goal was to try the french silk pie as I am a big fan of that pie, but I was too full. The only thing that brings the review from a 5 to a 4 is that the restaurant was too full, and that it took longer then what I determine to be an average time to get our order placed, but once it was placed the food came quickly

Best breakfast in town. Bring your appetite! Local owners and fantastic service. Get breakfast and a pure to go.

Stauffers is that down home cooking you crave. This is easily my favorite breakfast spot in town I like the number 3 with eggs scrambled, BACON, substitute french friea to replace hash brown and white toast! I don't do much sweeta myself but pies and rolls here are absolutely fantastic. True Lincoln treasure be sure to give it a try!
