The food meets the high bar Zipline's beer has set for me at home for years. Excited to have this place relatively close to home so I can enjoy a more expansive selection of their beers than is available on most shelves and have a quality meal to go with it! Reservations probably don't hurt for the weekends at least, but so far I've managed to post up without one no matter the time or day of the week.
This place is fresh, modern, and new. Having only been open for a month, you would expect it to be. The food was decent. I enjoyed what I had, though I wouldn't say they have any kind of food that stands out from similar restaurants. Maybe I just need to try more things.
Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. They were not too busy, so we were able to joke around a bit. I did not try the bar side, but it also looked clean. This is a place I would eat at again!
Attached to Zipline Tap & Grill there is Fiddlesticks - a lounge/bar with the full menu + drinks (why does it have its own singage?) We stopped in to see what they had to offer. Thirsty and looking for a drink there were plenty of draft choices, nice wine list, and some specialty cocktails. Nate made a great smoky old fashioned with a proper cherry & candied orange peel and good pear and Pom margarita. About room for 20 around the bar and several booths. Pretty full Saturday at 4:30.
Slightly odd vibe - the music was ALL over the place. From country, techno style, Wilson Phillips, the music seemed Bluetooth and cut out and changed frequently - it was weird.
We had a side of bbq sweet potato fries for a snack. Very tasty, crunch, fries w/ bbq seasoning.
The menu looked great and we will return for lunch soon.
What a place! Such a cozy dining experience, and both service and food were amazing. Our favorite was, perhaps surprisingly, the cheese curds, truffle fries, and incredibly delicious ranch sauce. Their lunch menu slightly differs from their dinner menu, so we hope to be able to head out there to try their dinner meals sometime. Beers were affordably priced, too, because...Zipline. 🍺
