Vern and Ellie’s

We’ve had Vern and Ellie’s catered twice this last year for family events and we ALWAYS get asked where the food was from. The cheesy hash browns are always a fan favorite! We love the burnt ends and broccoli bacon salad too. Thank for you always delivering such yummy food and being so easy to work with!

This is the best BBQ place in Lincoln. There is only one person who works, and she owns it. You may wait a bit in the drive thru to order, but it is more than worth the wait. She is only one person.

I love when a restaurant has good food AND friendly staff, and they definitely do! We had the sloppy joe, coleslaw, and cheesy hashbrown bowl with pulled pork. The portion sizes are great - we even had extra of the hash to go with eggs for breakfast!! Absolutely recommend!

This place is crazy good. The food is some of the best bbq I've had in Lincoln, their pork is smoked thoroughly and has great flavor. I had the pork on cheesy hash browns and it was definitely worth the drive and I strongly recommend it. The service was great too! The lady at the window was so nice and willing to help even though it was super cold outside. There's no indoor dining room it's just a drive thru which I don't see being an issue as I usually just get take out food these days anyway. If you're looking for a new place to try, this is your place because you won't be disappointed! You also are supporting local businesses!
