The Legendary Red Rooster

My daughter and I visited this wonderful establishment this week, celebrating her Birthday. We are branching out from restaurants in Lincoln and trying restaurants in local communities. What a wonderful atmosphere this restaurant is - from the décor, to the cheerful wait staff, to the food itself. The Prime Rib was delicious! We had such a positive experience! We told them `We will be back` as we were leaving! Enjoyed visiting with the owner who visited every table and him sharing his stories. Looking forward to Sunday brunches next.

I didn't have their signature fried Chicken which is what this restaurant is apparently known for. The service was outstanding. I like the atmosphere of the restaurant. It's a family friendly setting but with beer and alcohol. I thought the food was basically average, especially for the price. I want to reiterate, though, this restaurant is particularly well-known for its fried chicken, and the people I dined with who ordered the chicken thought it was delicious.

Loved our dinner! We made the trip from Lincoln for dinner and it was well worth it! Chicken fried steak was excellent along with homemade mashed potatoes. Service was great as well and of course we had to take pie to go which the first few bites have been delicious!

This was our first time at the Red Rooseter. The good was really good. Our waiter Grant was very nice and had a great personality. He helped me pick between 2 meals. My table had Chicken Fried Chicken, Bacon Melt, Grilled Shrimp, Fried Shrimp, and Wings.

The owner was also very nice and told my Mother-in-law and Father-in-law the history if the restaurant since we were curious.

We will definitely be back.

Took a trip up north to The Legendary Red Rooster in Ceresco. the service and wait staff were awesome. The atmosphere is rustic and charming. The food was on point and I highly recommend. I had the rib eye and Brandi had the chicken fried chicken. The batter was perfectly crispy and the flavor! Five stars!
