“This was our first time at the Red Rooseter. The good was really good. Our waiter Grant was very nice and had a great personality. He helped me pick between 2 meals. My table had Chicken Fried Chicken, Bacon Melt, Grilled Shrimp, Fried Shrimp, and Wings. The owner was also very nice and told my Mother-in-law and Father-in-law the history if the restaurant since we were curious. We will definitely be back.”

“Walked in and was greeted by Aby (I hope I got her name right), she told me, but I'm bad with names. There were about 15 people in there already, I sat at the bar and ordered a burger and fries and, of course, drinks. Staff was very friendly, and the order came out hot. Ordered a burger and fries , no cheese, got a cheese burger and fries. Lol was funny, I thought, Aby took it back and got me a burger. Let me tell ya if u haven't been there, you should go. The burger was bigger than I expected, and the fries were great. Im coming back next time with friends. Nice place, very clean, and a lot of places to sit, eat, and chat.”

“Very attentive staff. Food was well prepared and was certainly better than some of the other semi-local establishments. Shrimp Ceviche was very good and fresh. Best we've had in a while. I had the Molcajete, and it was very good as well. The Chorizo was also great. Only downside was that they've not gotten their Liquor License yet, but we were told it was coming soon... We will certainly be returning in the near future!”

It wasnt terribly sweet (like Mcdonalds Frappes) and wasnt bitter (like that old, stale coffee taste some places tend to have). When I say perfect I mean IT WAS PERFECT. “A popular place in town, this is the one place in town to get ice cream on a hot summer day. It can be overlooked if you quickly glance, though, because the outside is white now instead of the traditional red DQ has had for years. The staff is always friendly, efficient, and quick. I'm guessing this might be due in part to the small town work ethic. Either way, this city gal finds it refreshing.”
