“We are traveling to Colorado, when the sign on I80 caught our attention. We decided to make a small detour for lunch. So glad we did. The carnitas burrito was so good. The tamale was so favorful, and the cheese quesadilla is just how it should be(cheese and tortilla). This took us back to Arizona. Great portions and great price. We are already making plans to stop here on our way back to New Hampshire.”

“The atmosphere is really pretty, my friend and I loved the wallpaper and hanging plant shelves. When we walked in we were not greeted, the two girls stared at us until we placed our order. I got the avocado toast which was tasty, the price is fair for one piece. I also got a cold-pressed juice from the fridge which was good, but tasted watered-down. My friend loved the peanut butter bowl.”

“Nice place to stop in. This is the downtown restaurant. They also have a Cunningham restaurant closer to rt I80. We've been to both, and they each have good food. I like the atmosphere at this one because it's an older building with history. My wife had many carnivores options, and she chose one of their burgers. My plant based option was the Hummus plate with no added oil. It came with carrots, peppers, celery, and pita. It came with drizzled oil, but I was able to drain it off and scrape a layer off the Hummus. I also ordered a plain baked potato. It was plenty of food for me. They have good choices for beer and wine, but we went with coke and iced tea. Either location in Kearney will not let you down. Highly recommend.”

“Great place to get some good bar food! The wings were fantastic. Bleu burger was delicious. The sauces: bleu cheese, ranch, mango habanero, and jalapeño garlic were all homemade and delicious. It's definitely a great place to wind down, have a beer and some good food. Monica was our server she was very attentive and friendly. Although she had quite a bit of tables to tend to, she was right there before our drinks ran out and gave the check and paid out in a timely fashion. Do reccomend!”

“My favorite coffee shop/breakfast joint in Kearney! The coffee is outstanding, the food is delicious and made from scratch, and the atmosphere is really nice. I’ve tried many things on the menu and they’re all great - the weekend biscuits & gravy are a must-try, the malted pancakes and crepes are so good and the Denver Omelette is so fresh and stuffed with ingredients. There’s a great outside patio too when the weather is nice. You should definitely give Kitt’s a try!”

“Wonderful restaurant; superb buffet with sandwich makings, fresh bread, salads, soup, even chicken dish with dumplings! Every bite was yummy, and in this day and age, the expense was well worth the cost. Service was excellent, in an old fashioned, comfortable environment. I was just passing through Kearney, and was referred to this restaurant by a local. If you decide to go there for a meal, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did!”

“We tried the beef shawarma & the chicken tikka with piece of pistachio baklava. Everything was excellent. The meats where well cooked and had great flavors. I can’t remember what kind of sauce came with the beef shawarma, but it was absolutely fantastic! The baklava whilst small in portion was also great. Good clean presentations on the plate. The quality of the entire meal was on point. Give ‘em try if you haven’t.”

“First time trying this Asian fusion restaurant and we really enjoyed it! In the restaurant there are no pictures of the food so it’s a little tricky to order if it is your first time. The staff was very friendly and they helped us figure out what to eat. We ordered the Korean fries with crispy chicken and the Nik box with beef. The portions were huge and we basically ate only half of it. If you are trying the place for the first time, you might want to share one signature and see if you have room for more. Everything was tasty and we were surprised with the chicken and fries being so crispy even with the sauce.”

“My husband and I were impressed by the kindness and care of the owner. We didn't realize they were closed and she saw us trying to come in and popped her head out to say sorry she was closed. She offered to make us something anyways on the house. She was so kind and easy to talk to. She made my husband a quick coffee and gave me some water. We were wiped out after helping with a wedding and it felt like such a relief to be cared for and seen. She was thoughtful and took time for us outside of normal business hours. That says a lot about the character of those who own and run New Day Coffee, and that is something worth supporting. I hope you visit and enjoy being part of a local business who sees people as more than profit.”

“It is no secret to my friends and family that I love me some Starbucks. Usually I don’t review companies that have thousands of locations and are obviously well known however…. I had an amazing experience so I’m leaving a review. The facility is brand new so I was hesitant about going since most places have a rocky start but this place was running very smoothly! The whole place is very clean INCLUDING the bathrooms! The staff were wiping down and cleaning the whole time I was in the coffee shop. The drinks looked and tasted wonderful! Plus the staff members were super friendly and ready to assist me as soon as I was ready. Unfortunately one of my drinks exploded all over my car (super sad and I’m sure we’ve all been there) I was not expecting it but multiple staff members noticed and came out to help clean up the mess. They brought a wet rag to clean the seat and lots of napkins. They even brought out a fresh drink to replace the one that was now all over the drivers seat. The staff at this location are all super friendly and I would highly recommend stopping by for some coffee! It has a drive through and everything if you are like me and just passing through on a long journey!”
