Incredible service from beginning to end. Our server Garrett was attentive & witty. Our cocktails, salad, chowder, lamb chops, pork chops & chocolate dome dessert were amazing! We will definitely be back!
I like this place. Been there several times. Some items are better than others but that’s food. Pork chop was terrific, flat iron, New York steak, fois gras, All great. Service was excellent
Elegant upscale patio restaurant on the lake. Excellent views while dining.... attentive wait staff eager to make you happy. On sunday afternoon expext a 30 min wait. Love this place and will be back.
Absolutely delightful. The food was so tasty. Loved the brick oven flatbread... Spinach & smoked bacon!!! I also ordered roasted fingerling potatoes... It was perfectly cooked. I truly enjoyed myself. This place is highly recommended.
The decor & location & lake views are top notch. But a simple glass of ice water was very disappointing, as you could smell & taste chlorine & obviously they know it, because when beverages were offered, we were given a choice of regular tap ice water, bottled water, or sparkling water. What a disappointment that a restaurant of this caliber would even serve such heavily chlorinated water! The food was fine, although another disappointment was that we checked the menu online before going to the restaurant; brunch was until 3:00 pm, it is even printed on the brunch menus, which is what we were given to order from, although we had planned on ordering from the regular LUNCH MENU, but we were told we had to order from the brunch menu (which is a limited menu) & we were there at 4:00 pm, before the dinner menus would be presented at 5:00pm. A Cuban sandwich was ordered & the menu says it comes on a soft roll (instead of customary flat bread) & the sandwich was not 'pressed' as a Cuban should be. Sorry, but disappointing. A Bistro burger was ordered, allegedly a half pound burger, with cheese (a very thin slice) & 2 strips of bacon. The patty, while thick, was 3 - 3.5" in diameter, NOTHING 'special' about this 'glorified' bacon-cheese burger. I went expecting to order a Prime NY steak off the lunch menu, as you can see, that didn't happen. In view of the whole experience, I would give this eatery 3.5 stars, for the food & mainly for the lake views. I live at So.Tahoe, so I'll give it another try. This hotel was voted Best Hotel 2019, I guess that is strictly for the hotel.
