Palace Saloon

Stopped-in for lunch after reading good reviews on TripAdvisor. Because of the touristy nature of Virginia City, we didn't expect much. But what a surprise! The place was very busy when we arrived (and got more so by the minute), but we were lucky and got an open table. Service was fast, friendly, and helpful in providing lunch suggestions (I was I could recall the name of our server as she did an awesome job).

We ordered the Roos pastrami sandwiches with onion rings on the side. The sandwiches were delicious and the pastrami of very good quality. Terrific onion rings too! The price of our lunch was more than fair for what we received. Other diners, likewise, appeared happy with their orders.

We will definitely come back again.

What can I say other than "always delicious? The food here is always fantastic. The servers are always so nice and friendly. The atmosphere is wonderful. Everything is very well priced and very filling. I recommend this place for almost everything.

We love the Palace. Nothing we have ever ordered has been bad. Sometimes they're extremely busy, but it's worth the wait. It's probably the only place to get a salad in town.

Good food and service. We tried fried zucchini (the best), chicken pickle (tender juicy grilled chicken topped with melted cheese finished with greens and herbs. delicious), BLT burger (so-so. A little bit oily).

Food tasted great and the quantity you receive is fantastic if not too much. Servers were nice but not the most attentive; I don't know if they were just understaffed or if there was a miscommunication. There are no changing tables in the bathroom which is unfortunate if you have little ones. The drinks are very strong. I didn't order one, but I could smell it across the table. If you're looking for a good meal and a strong drink, I'd recommend this location.
