Red's Old Fashioned Candies

Great tourist place to visit. Tons of different candies and some other times you wouldn't normally see in a convenience/grocery store.

Salt water taffy is where it's out! All flavors and chocolates too! Old fashioned candy and newer too

This is one of my favourite places to stop whenever we are in Virginia City. They have such great varieties of different candies, I personally love the rock candies on a stick and the huge jawbreakers. The kids love all the different favours of ice creams and the hot dogs. There is a nice place to sit inside and eat and it is a great place to go to get a soda on a hot summers day.

The staff has always been friendly to us and especially good to the kids. The prices aren't the cheapest, but the quality and service make it worth the little bit extra. This is a great place for a family to go when touring the town and walking up and down the boardwalks. The place has a homey, old-fashioned feel and is in a convenient locations as well. The establishment is clean and welcoming. I definitely recommend you try it if you haven't already. Worth going to every time you visit.

Cute shop, nice selection of candy. Had a sandwich there once. The kid behind the counter looked like he would rather be anywhere else, the bread was super hard and e texture of the turkey made me gag. Candy,yes...sandwiches,no. But I can't say to much bad about it... it's in a Virginia City !!

Best caramel apples I've ever purchased. It is thin enough that most anyone can eat them, soft enough that it won't stick to your teeth in globs, and the taste was FANTASTIC! Wish I knew how to make a dip that meets all three categories for best apples ever. Can we order these by mail??
