Joy Luck

Address: 219 N Center St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“in contrast to the rest of the staff i met at harrah's the employees here were pretty curt and business-like, which is fine i suppose since the food was pretty good. $9 for those potstickers is a bit of a stretch though given the very reasonable entree prices. have to imagine there are better options nearby.”

The Silver Peak

Address: 135 N Sierra St suite e, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“Food was great! Especially liked the fries. Husband had BLT with fried green tomato. I had the clams. The location is great. Just walk out of parking garage right into restaurant which will validate your 6 dollar parking fee. My gripe was with service. Felt like I had to tackle the waitress.to get her attention. Asked for bread to dip in my clams. Got 1/2 of loaf of uncut cold bread and no butter. Expecting toasted slice of bread. No chance grabbing that waitress to correct it. No on one topped off water or ice tea. Had to grab waitress for Bill. Not itemized. Not asked what wine I wanted or what I was charged for.The service really brought down the great food. Too bad.”

West Street Market

Address: 148 West St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“West Street Market remind me of a neighborhood I once live in three decades ago in kansas city. What you will see here is a public space with art, craft, and murals in the open. Just think of a space nestled between two complex fill with tables and chairs with string lights. Certainly not a place for doing any fun as far as activity goes its more of a place to grab a bite and socialize. Places like these are special business employ local resident and community benefit from it. I must admit I had a drink in hand from another establishment took a seat here expecting someone to come up and kick me out. It didn't happen people didn't snitch on me even ask if they can use extra chair. Action like this tells me laid back place were people can be themselves here. All I can say is the place need color to make it eye-catching where it stands now seem a bit muted. If you like local artisan food people watching and outdoor chill vibe this place is destine for you. The place just need a little more #riverwalkdistrict #outdoorseating #foodhall #artisancraftfood #independentfoodstall #streetparking #moderateprice #walkablefromcasino #loacalhangout #latenightfood #”

Maya’s South Indian cuisine

The DeLuxe

Address: 148 West St A-8, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“We weren't in Reno long--it was actually a Lake Tahoe trip--but we came here twice. The live music is a treat and not so loud that people can't talk if they want to. If you have a family where no one can agree on what they want, there are several restaurants in this spot and a common eating area, but it doesn't feel like a food court. The pork belly was dry, but everything else here was flavorful and creative, and employees seem to love it there. The PB&J date shake is my new craving! Plus, everything can be made gluten free! Woot!”

Thali

Address: 148 West St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“It was a new experience to try the Indian style coffee service. After pouring back and forth between the cup and saucer several times the sweetness at the bottom mixed in and the mixture frothed up. Delicious and rich. It was fun to taste all the different dishes and nice to know it was all organic and vegetarian. We enjoyed being able to get refills of our favorites. This Indian cuisine is authentic, stock full of flavor ,each dish served begs for more (which is given as much as you like)”

Little Nugget Diner

“Best burger in town! We just left a concert at the event center and needed late night sustenance. The Awful Awful fit the bill! Delicious HUGE flat griddle burger with a mountain of fries for under 12 bucks! My guy and I shared the basket and were stuffed. Definitely a hole in the wall place but, we ARE in Reno. And when in Reno, get an Awful Awful!”

The Original Mels Diner

Address: 345 N Arlington Ave, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“It was a cold day in November....Sounds like the beginning of a story doesn't it? Well it was cold! I'm from the Islands (Bahamian) and had never seen mountains. My friends and I were deep in the Reno experience when we entered Mels: hungry and hung over. I loved the food, the ambiance and the staff. If I ever make it over the mountain again - this place is definitely on the itinerary.”

Noble Pie Parlor

Address: 239 W 2nd St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“From the outside this place is an eyesore. The area it is located at is run down. As you walk in it's small and unimpressive yet warm, and calls you to sit and stay. We ordered a Pepperoni Pizza, small salad with ranch dressing, garlic knots and hot wings. Everything was delicious. I was so pleased. To my understanding everything is homemade. They also have Vegan options. Yummy!”

Brew Brothers Reno

Address: 345 N Virginia St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“Happy hour is 2-5 Monday though Friday and well worth waiting for. Their wood fired pizzas are 2 for 1, giving me three meals for about $13. The service is friendly and although the wait time for food is fairly long, it's worth it because it's being cooked in the wood oven. They are best known for. bring a micro brewery with MANY amazing handcrafted beers.”

La Strada

Address: 345 N Virginia St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“There's not really enough I can say about La Strada. The food is amazing and it's a high class dining experience for a good price. They have many options for pastas, salads, soups and appetizers if you're not too hungry, but they also have options for 5 course meals and great steaks, authentic polenta and so much more. The wine pairing option is awesome too. The staff here adds an extra kick to the already great atmosphere. Impressed with La Strada for sure. Highly recommend it.”

The Buffet

Address: 345 N Virginia St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“Great but a tad pricey. 50$ for 3 people. Otherwise I'd put five stars up there if the price was more reasonable. This by far is one my favorite buffets in Reno, and that's fairly hard to come by for me since I'm so picky. Note I've only been here on weekends so this review is solely based on the food offered to me during those days of the week, so I can't say what it's like during the weekdays.”

Kwok's Bistro
