TACO SHOP

Address: 811 S Center St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“The couple who make the food are really sweet. I got two fish tacos & one cauliflower veggie tacos. Both of them were delicious. Hands down, the best Mexican food I’ve had in Reno so far. Downside is that you have to sit inside a tent. This place is cheap and a hole in the wall so if you want good ambience, go elsewhere. But if you just want delicious Mexican food at affordable prices, look no further.”

Smith and River

Address: 50 N Sierra St #104, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“This place is killer. The two waiters Tom and Kit were fantastic. The food was amazing. Our favorite was the wonton tuna. I wasn't expecting the style and taste. It was a wonton shell fried in a taco shape with fresh seared raw tuna covered with kimchi. It's a must get. The crab cakes were ok. They came with a Cajun Remoulade sauce that was good. But nothing like the wonton tuna. The Caesar salad had the perfect amount of dressing but the dressing was very strong on the anchovy side. Which I enjoyed but my fiance did not. I think I would have gone with the beat salad instead. I've heard great things about it. The rigatoni was good but I felt like I could have easily cooked the dish at home. Nothing extremely special. The swordfish on the other hand was very very good. I loved the array of vegetables and the truffle puree. It had a fresh lemon flavor to it that was very fresh and light but yet feeling. The winner of tonight's meal was The braised lamb shank. Pharaoh risotto was creamy and the red wine demi glaze was a delicious hit. Everyone had to have a bite. Felt like it was a must get since we're in Nevada and Nevada is known for its lamb. Overall, the experience was very nice. The manager ryan stopped by our table to ask how our experience was. Which I appreciate and recommend all restaurants to do. I will definitely recommend this place. I think it is a staple to our community. Thank you for the great experience Smith River. Till next time.”

Give this place a try when exploring Midtown.”

Wild River Grille

Address: 17 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“We reserved the River Room for our small wedding reception and everything was so beautiful and a great value! We had about 50 people, so it was the perfect size for us. We worked with Emma on all the details beforehand and she was so lovely throughout the process, answering all our questions and also just being there the day-of to make sure we had a great time. The staff set up our tables exactly as we asked, it was so beautiful. We chose a buffet and the food was amazing! All of our guests raved about it. The bar staff was also super kind and attentive and kept everyone happy all night. The restaurant even allowed us to have a fro-yo tuktuk parked on the patio for our dessert. I would highly recommend Wild River Grille for any special event!”

Firetrail Pizza

Address: 16 S Sierra St., Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“Located in one of the crates in the Eddy, Firetrail isn't your regular brick and mortar pizza place. Parking and seating can be brutal. When we left, there was a line of people waiting to get it. We ordered the BBQ chicken pizza, while it was tasty and had that unique flavor you get from fire, it was expensive for the size. Great ambiance and friendly staff though.”

Nick's Greek Deli

Address: 600 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“Beef and lamb gyro fries. One of the best thing I have ever eaten. Golden brown crispy fries. Feta and this garlic sauce then big chunks of meat. Green onions diced. We also got gyros. They messed up the order. With the no onions and and no tomatoes. Even though I didn't ask for then I noticed how fresh the ingredients where. The owner has a big job to build a service team today. The Greek yogurt if fire also. Lil pricey. I'll wait and pay for fresh and elevated. Beautiful place on carne a safe fries. Even better.”

Truckee Bagel Company

Address: 538 S Virginia St Ste B, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Bakery Restaurant

“We wanted 2 try this place out n it was very busy when we git'd there. The bagels were pretty good n the young lady behind the counter was very pleasant. However I git that the times r kinda hard 4 small business, but the portions could have b'n a'lil bigger 4 the $$$. All n all this wasa good lil bagel shop n we'll b back.”

Süp

Address: 669 S Virginia St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“Soup was good but nothing that tasted extra ordinary . The bread bowl was delicious though! Service was good. Staff was very friendly and attentive to our questions and kind. When we entered inside their was a nasty stench that flooded the building so we sat outside so we didn’t have to smell it and only 1 of their outdoor heaters worked. So we ate in the cold because that heater was serving another guest and we weren’t in proximity of it to feel much. The other 2/3 of them didn’t work. Also the tables outside we wiped down ourselves since it was dirty and no one out there cleaning them. The place has hope and could be a better experience for you . Personally I don’t have desire to go back.”

Churrasco Brazilian Steakhouse

Clean and peaceful ambience, and professional and friendly staffs. Would definitely come back if we are to visit Reno NV next time.”

Royce Burger Bar

Address: 115 Ridge St, Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“I came here on a Sunday night with my 8 year old daughter. I think they have a good amount of outdoor seating but we indoors there aren’t a ton of options. Mostly it’s couches and you share a large coffee table with the couch across. Pretty cool ambiance and very different. Feels like I’m in my buddies basement bar in Eau Claire Wisconsin! I ordered 2 different cocktails… the price seemed a tad high for how much you get but they were definitely tasty. Fries are very subjective but I’m not a huge fan of shoestring fries and didn’t seem like we got too many however they were pretty decent. Burgers were good 4/5 and we also ordered fried cheese curds that in Wisconsin would be a 2/5 but in Reno were a 3.5/5… it did seem to have a regulars vibe and at one point I had to wait for a beer while the server/bartender talked with some ladies who frequent the place and it was discussed that they were super crowded for a Sunday night but the tips stunk because it wasn’t regulars - sort of rubbed me the wrong way. I also would say there are way more kid friendly burger places…”

Peg's Glorified Ham n Eggs - S Sierra St

Address: 420 S Sierra St., Reno, NV 89501, USA

Restaurant

“First of all , Amazing staff :) very welcoming and happy staff. We were seated promptly and had great interactions. Being I unsure of what to order the staff helped choose too. It was a good choice. Food was served hot and was very tasty. Serving portions are generous too Ate breakfast here while stopping in Reno during a transit to SFO, This place was also recommended by a local we happen to talk to while checking out downtown. Cheers”

Satisfaction Pizza

Address: 190 California Ave, Reno, NV 89509, USA

Restaurant

“I get my hair done at Salon Bobby Pin upstairs from here. So I came down and got the lunch special before leaving. Firstly, the guys were super friendly, and nice. And second the food hit the spot! I got a slice of good ol’ cheese, with the kale salad. So good. And the ranch dressing is the good kind of ranch, you know what I mean! lol Definitely will be back for a quick lunch grab again. Thank you! Update: I went back today(next day) ordered the satisfaction minus prosciutto add jalapeño. And… IT’S SO GOOOOOD! I got the kale because it’s delicious, and a slice of good ol’ cheese again because that’s just a staple for me with ranch of course. I grabbed a soft serve with caramel sauce for the drive home, and holy heck, that hits the sweet spot craving. Also, such nice guys! 10/10 recommend.”
