“This establishment is all encompassing; bar, restaurant, lodge, gas, and store. I am amazed by what a wide array of everything you could possibly need that the store has for its size; lots of fishing gear of course, food items including frozen pizza, lunch meat, sausage, spaghetti sauce, butter, toiletries, and much more. We even found a stuffed toy for our dog! A separate room houses many Pyramid Lake apparel including t-shirts, sweat shirts, beanies, jackets, and mugs. The lunch was excellent but best of all was the staff! Amanda, Janet, Valerie, and Brandon all did a wonderful job with a smile and are very welcoming!! Pyramid Lake Lodge is the place to go!”

“On a recommendation from a friend, who now that I think about it, doesn't always give good recommendations, I visited a new Mountain Mike's Pizza on Keystone and 5th. Middle of the road can be a good place when value is factored in. Unfortunately the pizza I ordered was not up to my standard. It was delivered to my table already cooled. The thick crust was unremarkable. The toppings while generous were at best pedestrian (I ordered the meat lovers pizza to sample a broad cross section of the available meats). On the positive side of the ledger. The staff were attentive and plentiful. The restaurant, clean and comfortable. Bonus! A salad bar, unfortunately my server didn't inform me if just my purchase gained me access.”

“Ever since 2019 it’s felt like it’s been difficult to find good service at most quick food places but this firehouse subs is an exception. It’s very refreshing to see people pay attention to their work and customers. I’ve been a couple of times, no more than 3, and the workers know my name and they say goodbye to me when I leave. The sandwiches may be a bit pricey but it goes to a great cause and you absolutely cannot beat the service. If you’re in the market for a nice warm sandwich fire house is THE place to be!”

“The 1st time was great. 2nd time great also but, the 3rd time I had issues. There was a different staff. I asked for my roll not to be cut all the way through just like the last 2 visits. When the sub reached the toppings it took 2 people to destroy my sub. They actually tore the roll in half after it was already cut. They didn't understand when I asked for mayonnaise to be put on both sides of the roll instead they put mayo on top of the meat, cheese & tomato. The manager Martin on duty came to the rescue. I returned before leaving to buy a #1 to take home. My hero Martin took care of me.”

“I tried the rolled tacos (a daily special) and they were pretty tasty. The guacamole was fuegoooo 👌🏾 I tried the establishment on Valley and there are two other locations in the Reno/Sparks area. It was clean with seating inside and out. Also they have a taco Tuesday special that I will most definitely be taking advantage of next week! I love me some good food and now I have a new place to try different dishes. I'm a happy lady!”

“We were really excited to try this place. Service was really good. Hours are not correct on their website. They are shortened to Covid hours so make sure you call ahead of times. The food was about a 3 out of 5 stars. Gave them 4 stars for the sweet staff. We thought one of the seaweed salad was fishy tasting. Maybe not a fresh as some of the other ingredients. They have a nice selection of drinks with the Boba selection. There is no outdoor seating but there is a beautiful park to sit at. Portions were of a good size. Thought the ingredients could have been fresher. But? It may not be busy enough to turn over to new ingredients faster. If you dine in you get a free miso soup! Which was delicious!”

“Cat made our experience at Seven Troughs really special. My 2 sisters and I popped in to try the rum-soaked cupcake (which was delicious!). We actually shared one dessert 3 ways and Cat was so gracious and kind about our silly $6 order and even offered us waters with lemon. “Absolutely LOVE Brother's! I'm from Texas and this is the most Texan BBQ I've found in these parts. I love coming here on my own, but today I did a big order to feed our whole office. Everyone loved it! We were missing one of our bowls and they were super fast in getting it out to us when I went back. I really appreciate the wonderful service. My contact was Meagan and she was courteous and professional and super nice. We will definitely be ordering from them again. Oh my god, their meat AND sides are all amazing and I can't say that I've ever had better cornbread in my life. Thank you! Also, we dove into our food so fast I forgot to take pics. However, their hours are really inconsistent which is why I'm rating 4 stars. It would say they're open until 3 am on Saturday's, but is unavailable when I try and order. Just annoying”
