“Four star food with a five star waiter. I like to start with the bad and end with the good so stick with me until I tell you why you should go. Sitting down the place looked clean, bright, and comfortable. The table was a little sticky, I'm not sure if it needs to be refinished or cleaned. We started with the Irish Nachos which have a lot of potential; however, they weren't very hot and the flavor of the black olives stood out in a bad way. My salmon burger, and my wife's prime rib and mashed potatoes were acceptable. My french fries and my wife's squash were excellent. The real seller for me was Shawn, I've never had a waiter go so far to help his customers. When my wife asked for horseradish sauce Shawn went out back and made her some (also it was really good). He was polite, he was fast, and he was cheery. All in all I'd say head in, ask for Shawn, and get your Irish Nachos without black olives.”

“Moat Mountain Smokehouse & Brewing is hands down the best brewpub in the Mount Washington Valley. Their friendly staff are always welcoming and will serve you in a timely manner. Their bartenders are very knowledgeable about their own products and will meet your needs. Their full menu includes burgers, pizzas, sandwiches, nachos, steak and etc. You can't go wrong with a pint of their flagship beers on tap as well as their mouthwatering food. They do offer beers in bottles and cans that you can take home as well as growler fills. They have souvenirs that you can take home as well. The smokehouse is usually open daily from 11 AM until last call. I would recommend that you visit their Facebook page and/or call before visiting to be sure they're open for the day. They rarely close for special events or circumstances beyond their control. Their beers are brewed in house or at the factory down the road. Their beers are currently distributed through most of New England. Don't Fear The Beer!”

“What a big surprise, we were sitting in the bar area , but no Problem. The service was as great ...and the food we tried, well...delicious, try yourself. “Visiting from Massachusetts. Came here because it was across from our hotel. Loved it! Some of the best Thai food I’ve had. I had a Thai tea. Excellent. Hubby and I shared the chicken pad Thai and the seafood soup. I would absolutely order it again. It was so good. The restaurant was small, a little hole in the wall. But lots of people had take out and we didn’t wait to be seated. The server I believe was the owner on this night and he was so friendly. We will return!”

“Amazing restaurant! Excellent food and service. We had the special mussels in a curry sauce that dish was so delicious and the potato planks were intense. My husband said the ckn pot pie was the best ever. Highly recommend the warm berry bread pudding. You must go. We loved it so much we went 2 nights in a row. Visiting from Long Island.”

“Excellent pizza. I had the special, and the kids had cheese. My wife had pepperoni and onion. Everyone loved it. Our three year old loved the meatballs. Sauce on the pasta was a bit heavy on the oregano and garlic, but I liked it. Just unexpected to the kids.”

“This place was amazing!! I got the lazy lobster and I couldn't be happier. There was a good amount of meat in the dish and the bread crumbs were delicious. Also they had hand battered onion rings ???????????? and they were delicious. The coleslaw was also very fresh and the portion sizes were great. The waitress was also very nice!”

“My family loved the pizza here! My children had rave reviews on their half of the pizza which was cheese. The adults had peppers and pepperoni. Friends had omelettes, only complaint was that the menu advertised sun dried tomatoes for the omelette, but got fresh diced. Apple bread was good for sharing. Staff was friendly with good service. “When traveling it is easy to eat at a nationwide chain, but it is great to try the local restaurants. We were not disappointed. The menu is generous with plenty to select and nothing looks bad. When on a weekend expect it to be busier. Service is very friendly and helpful, and they keep things clean even in hectic hours. I enjoyed the atmosphere and decor inside. A part of me also wishes I could have ate outside. My burger was cooked to perfection. Filling, delicious and flavor to the extreme. There is plenty to appreciate here and I highly recommend Muddy Moose, especially those of us who are not from the area.”
