My kids were entertained with the kid area. The food was super awesome and the staff was friendly, including Danielle the owner who we had the pleasure of meeting. “Great Indian food in the middle of the white mountains? Well... I’d go with “good” Indian. The flavor is on point however the level of heat (the pepper) is a bit high. If you are accustomed to a medium spice I would recommend you ask for a mild. The staff was so nice and gave us some yogurt and sweet sauce to take the bite off of our dinner. We would return.”

“This place is awesome. I own the Inn next door and was excited to try Cresh's and I was not disappointed. This is VERY AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD. I grew up in an Italian neighborhood outside Providence and I am very familiar with good Italian food, and this is it. In addition to the food being excellent, the staff is wonderful, and the restaurant itself is very nicely done. If you are in North Conway I would highly recommend this spot !!”

“It's always a challenge to leave Story Land and get everyone fed so this year my husband and I decided to order takeout/delivery for dinner on our first day. After reading online reviews, I decided on Via Roma. First, I was able to place our order online which is AWESOME. My 6 year old got the kids cheese pizza. My husband and I got a 16" Roma Special and a garden salad with balsamic vinaigrette to share. I was able to set delivery time for 7:00 pm, pay and include tip all online. Around 6:30 as we were sitting in Story Land traffic, the restaurant called to confirm location and time. We got to our hotel, checked in and about 3 minutes later the front desk called to let me know our food had arrived (6:45, ahead of schedule). The delivery man was pleasant and let me know he had included silverware, plates, and napkins. I took our food up and everything was there, just as we ordered, along with some fresh pita bread. The pizza was amazing. Really hit the spot. The salad was nothing special and I didn't care for the dressing. My recommendation would be to skip the salad and just get some veggies on your pizza. I would definitely recommend Via Roma--the process was great and the food was delicious!”

“Very good service, she was on top of everything. Food was good and reasonably priced. They accommodate families very well. Had the prime rib straight off the cut, and it was medium. If you go earlier, I am guessing it would be more rare. Mashed potatoes were good, along with the veggies. The only thing was the prime rib had cooled down by the time I got it. It was not cold, and not enough to complain about. Other items that I saw that looked really good: Scallops, and the burgers (did not have them). They do have a page for gluten friendly, so a good variety if you are celiac or gluten allergy.”

“Stopped by Pizza Hut after a movie for a quick meal. Two pan pizzas, one meat, one veggie and a trip to the salad bar. Everything was good, and the pizzas were as good as my Dad remembered, but we all agreed we'd go with the thin crust next time. Pan pizza crust good, but too greasy for us. Salad bar had a good assortment of veggies. We will go back!”

“This McDonald's has snow skiing themed dining room with chair lifts and gondolas to sit on or in. It also has a large indoor play area for the smaller kids. If you are pulling a boat or travel trailer this is your place as they a large parking lot behind the building. It is easy to get into with lots of room to maneuver. Getting out can be a problem. The road is always congested. The locals are kind and will let in you in. If the car tag has an southern M on it, well you may be there a long time. Food is fast and consistent. I love their frys, chicken sandwich, less mayonnaise. Yes they will alter their food upon request. I also enjoy their Ice Cream. I highly recommend this as a pleasant, economical place to eat and let the kids burn off some steam.”

We were there on a beautiful 70 degree day and sat on one of the many picnic beaches. I must admit the seating inside was a little limited if the weather was problematic. “Great steak! I was in the bar so can't comment on the ambiance of the restaurant but I'm sure the food would be the same. Garlic mashed, side ceasar and calamari were my choices. Calamari tasted like it was from a freezer bag though the marinara was pretty good. Garlic mashed were a little cool for me but weren't cold by any means. Overall it was a decent dinner in a bar on a Thursday evening. The highlight of the meal, as it should be, was the steak. Grilled to a perfect med Rare. It was juicy, slightly blackened, and very flavorful. Go! Enjoy!”

“I grew up with Friendly's and it always was a favorite ... Except when it wasn't. Friendly's has struggled with ownership, pricing, store closings, but seems to be bouncing back. Stopped for breakfast. It was excellent. The veggie omelet. My companion opted for the breakfast melt sandwich. Both were very good, and very reasonably priced. The omelet came with potatoes and toast. Both very good. The sandwich also came with breakfast potatoes. The restaurant was clean and comfortable, ideal for families, particularly with small children. If you haven't been in awhile, give Friendly's another chance. You might be pleasantly surprised. I was!”

“The chain location here was just as expected in comparison to the one I usually frequent. The lunch special was well made and very filling for the cost. Though I do have to say the French Onion soup seemed to be better prepared here than in our usual location. The server was attentive and friendly. She even stayed in the roll after two customers were being rude to her because their card was declined for having insufficient funds. Thankfully they paid and left quickly.”
