“The Mount Washington valley has been absolutely PACKED with rude tourists. I know I can lean on my local starbucks to provide me the best service and friendly smiles to start my day. I’ve seen what they can go through and I’ve waited in the line for 45 min- an hour, but that is to be expected with a 25+ car line in drive through and a packed lobby because no one can wait anymore. Everyone at this store deserves recognition, they are all amazing baristas!”

“Local Grocer is a fabulous grocery store and food establishment. For those of us who are organic/gluten free/ vegan conscious this is the go to place. Everyone is always nice and besides shopping for food daily, I also get one of their great smoothies each day. Yesterday had lunch there with my wife and our meals were delicious. Great salads. “Look no further, Autumn Nomad is the PERFECT choice for your wedding cake. Not only is Jaime the absolute sweetest, she serves up some freaking amazing cake. The only difficult thing was trying to figure out which flavor to choose because they are all phenomenal. We ended up going with three different flavors because we had such a hard time choosing, but our absolute favorite is called London Fog (honey cake, soaked with an earl grey, honey, lavender simple syrup, filled with a creamy mascarpone buttercream). I seriously dream about it and we are planning to make an annual pilgrimage to the shop to get more. Jaime is also incredibly friendly and very creative; her cakes are true works of art!”

“This McDonald's has snow skiing themed dining room with chair lifts and gondolas to sit on or in. It also has a large indoor play area for the smaller kids. If you are pulling a boat or travel trailer this is your place as they a large parking lot behind the building. It is easy to get into with lots of room to maneuver. Getting out can be a problem. The road is always congested. The locals are kind and will let in you in. If the car tag has an southern M on it, well you may be there a long time. Food is fast and consistent. I love their frys, chicken sandwich, less mayonnaise. Yes they will alter their food upon request. I also enjoy their Ice Cream. I highly recommend this as a pleasant, economical place to eat and let the kids burn off some steam.”

“This was a great cafe for breakfast/ lunch. The atmosphere was awesome- there's seating indoors and a really nice outdoor area with comfy chairs and decorations. The food was good but a little on the pricey side. I believe the veggie burrito was $6.99 and to add chicken was an extra $3.99. Seems like a small amount of chicken for 4 dollars but it was yummy!”

“We used Batter Up for our wedding at The Preserve at Chocorua and are so happy we did! Julie is so friendly and great to work with. We wanted to do cupcakes and a small cutting cake, and she was so helpful with flavors and designs. On the wedding day, she told us to just leave our cake cutting set and flowers on the table and she would set everything up. It looked AMAZING. Our guests loved the cupcakes, and they were truly beautiful. I'd highly recommend Batter Up!”
