“The room and common areas were immaculate and inviting. We also enjoyed the outdoor hot tub, and exploring the pristine brook running behind the property. Its location was perfect…a few minutes from downtown North Conway, yet quiet and secluded. Most of all, we loved the service we received from innkeeper, Sandra. From the moment we checked in, she was warm and accommodating. We enjoyed our conversations with her, and especially appreciated her personal touches like making sure we didn’t miss the NCAA National Hockey Championship. We look forward to visiting again soon!”

“This shack is really easy to miss, but thank God I didn't. The woman running the smoothie shack is an absolute gem. She is so sweet that I think she gave me diabetes. The smoothie menu was huge with lots of fresh and creative ingredients and she had a ton of recommendations. I went with something more protein based than sugar based (ie the Met smoothies) and we got to talking so much that I was late getting back to work from my lunch break. I don't make the rules but I think that we're besties now.”

“We saw that this restaurant replaced an old noodle restaurant and we had to try it! Boy were we surprised! The atmosphere is extremely cool and the waiter working was extremely nice and friendly and knowledgeable about Indian food! This was my first time trying Indian food and I will definitely go again! My girlfriend eats food like this all the time and she said that it’s the best so far and the most authentic! You have to try the garlic Nan! We highly suggest asking for mild dishes if you don’t handle spice well! The mild butter chicken pasta had tons of flavor! My girlfriend loved her meal pictured above! The lamb shishkebab was extremely tasty with amazing sauces to pair it with as well. The samosas are vegetarian on the appetizer menu. They were tasty! But I hope that they sell samosas with meat in them in the future! We will definitely be returning!”

“I was incredibly impressed by our stay given the low price of the rooms. Best room-to-value ratio I’ve experienced. Incredibly clean, and also cute. My only complaint is that there is no front desk person after 8 or 9, so if you need something (toilet paper, towels, etc.), you’re out of luck.”

“Valley vegan is amazing! So impressed with all the baked goods and desserts. The Apple crescent puff pastries, the lemon/raspberry bars, the cinnamon crumble coffee cake, the chocolate everything truly is amazing. The best bakery type foods I’ve ever had and it’s vegan! “Visited here Martin Luther King holiday weekend and found it very welcoming. The interior is well done and decorated to suit the area. We enjoyed a couple of their beers while being able to watch the Bruins game on the projector. The staff was friendly and helpful. “A group of 6 of us visited while we spent a week in North Conway and we had an absolute blast during our visit to Mooney Hill Maples! The owner (Rob) was very thorough as he walked us through the maple making process. He patiently answered all of our questions and even let us help him collect maple sap from a few of the trees. Arguably the best part was getting a tour of the farm and meeting the different animals which included the most adorable and friendly steer (Goober definitely had the most memorable name). We also had a great time getting their recommendations on local restaurants or things to see. Of course we also bought some maple syrup to bring home and it was absolutely delicious!”

“This is a cozy spot for a drink, snack or meal after a day on the mountain or exploring the area. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable. We came twice on a recent stay one time for a meal and again for drinks. The cocktails are tasty and well balanced with good flavor profiles. The fondue for two is an authentic Swiss-style fondue with the perfect cheese to bread ratio, it could only be more perfect with a shot of kirsch. The service by Charlie and Leon was well paced and relaxed, a nice change from so many restaurants that push tables through their meals. I recommend stopping in and enjoying the time and space, I’m looking forward to returning on a future visit.”

“Super cozy pub with live music and the friendliest staff. The wait for a table on a Saturday night could be long, but you can grab a drink at the bar and relax by the fireplace while you wait. The ambiance was perfect after a long day hiking. There’s no drink menu at the bar, but it looks like they could make you just about anything you would want. Tried the Mac and cheese and wings. Both were good, but seeing the other plates around me, I would try something different next time.”

“So, so good. I came in late one night. Just a few minutes after closing. And I was still served food that I could take to go. The customer service was amazing and the food, it was somehow even better than that. I got the Caribbean Asian pineapple chicken with rice and peas. It was one of the best meals I have eaten this year. Without a doubt. This is probably one of my new favorite spots to go and I can see myself coming here for years to come. Do yourself a favor and try their food. It is amazing.”
