The Common Man

You can't go wrong at any of The Common Man restaurants. Their food is fantastic, we've always had good service, and each restaurant is unique. Whether you're going to Common Man or Italian Farmhouse or any if their facilities, you won't be disappointed. They all offer something similar in their general operation, say cheese and crackers when you walk in or white chocolate when you leave. But some places you get bread and dark chocolate instead. And yet, these restaurants will have completely different themes and menus that impress every time. Another yearly destination for us in our annual NH trip.

Fell in love with this quaint, quirky place 20 years ago. Back to visit with my wife and kids: their first time to see it. The service is quick and friendly, the food is awesome, the atmosphere rustic and unique. Still as wonderful as I remember.

Our family has been going to the common man in Ashland for well over 15 years and we love it there. I loved it as a teenager while up in the winter after a long day of skiing and now I love it spending a romantic evening with my wife by candlelight. It's a great place and great restaurant group, highly recommend any of their locations.

The Common Man restaurants are a fixture of life in New Hampshire. There is always something for everyone on the menu, and you can help yourself to cheese and crackers from the cheese-and-cracker station near the entrance. The interior is very quaint, rustic and cozy. There is a nice bar with a good drink selection. So why not five stars? I've lived in NH for twenty years, and there just isn't anything there that totally knocks my socks off. It is a lovely reliable stop for lunch or dinner, and it is great for kids.

We will add this place to our must go back again eateries. Everything was delicious. Service was excellent. Just a really nice place to dine. I highly recommend the experience of eating here.
