“We had a private dinner here for our elopement recently and it was amazing. All our meals were so delicious and fresh. We have also been here on previous occasions and have loved it as well. If you’re in the area, make sure to check The Beal House out! It’s hard to find a place like this in this area and is perfect for a intimate date night or cozy family dinner. “Tucked away beneath the historic Thayer Hotel, this is a gem worthy of acclaim. In the area for business for only one evening and my expectations for dining choices for a small, rural town were low. Obviously the low expectations on my part show a bias based on my experience with many small, rural towns but in this case I was thrilled to be proven wrong. The atmosphere, menu, food presentation and taste, beverage and service were as good with what you would find on the coast or in larger metro area. “I have never had a burger so delicious from McDonald’s. It’s 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon, and My food could not be more perfect. There were no breaks in my buns, my meat was juicy and perfectly cooked, the fries had just come from the oil perfectly salted, the veggies were fresh and crisp, my condiments were not only on the top bun, but on the bottom!! I am 100% pleased with no complaints whatsoever with the service and food here today. Thank you.”

“Max is the BEST! He made me a fresh garden salad because there wasn't any out. He is very friendly and makes us always feel welcomed. I wish they had Vegan options, but as of right now there isn't anything but a garden salad and some grapes. Hopefully in the future they will see a need for it. There pizzas always smell so good! “Was very busy. With that being said, the shift Manager was very welcoming during the influx of customers. Was very helpful in guiding and suggesting different speciality dishes and flavors being offered. Even after we ordered ribs, which they were suddenly out of 20 minutes after placing my order, she came over and went out of her way to make sure we were taken care of with what had transpired, and that we had an enjoyable experience with this particular establishment!!!”

“One of the only places open that late when we stayed nearby hiking Mt. Washington. The waitresses were laid back and chatting with us since there wasn't many guests dining that late.
