Food options include a smashburger, falafel pita, schnitzel sandwich, bratwurst, and some other German fare. This newest aspect of Schilling now also has draft beer options, in addition to the two other places to drink on their property at the pizza spot and taproom. “This place was so nice we went twice!! Seriously, the food, staff, and porch were great. Fresh ingredients, good prices, and staff with personality sealed the deal for us. We had wraps, breakfast sandwiches, baked goods, and local brews from the cooler while riding a multi-day motorcycle tour. The owner came and sat with us and was a great conversationalist. He let us sample a Ziti Alfredo that was incredible. His mother's recipe and he did her proud. I would go out of my way to go back.”

We order 3 cheeseburgers, 2 with bacon & a cheese fries & garlic fries. One of the burgers was slightly under cooked. The burgers with bacon only had one piece of bacon & one pickle. The fries were lacking. I was not really impressed with the food. The place does have a fun atmosphere and the guys that took our order & checked us out were really nice.”

“I got it! Was waiting to snag first review here! I am really excited about this place being in town. It’s a little unassuming because it’s behind gas pumps, but the remodel is clean and modern nautical themed, right next to the four wheeler trail, and if you are looking to round off a date night - Sweet Treats is right next door with outdoor picnic tables. It’s also the only bar in Lisbon. The atmosphere is great, small families, couples, easy going bar folks, and the service is prompt and friendly. The food is good, not scratch kitchen stellar, but for seafood/pub fair it has some interesting options and a focus on pickles and dill. For example, Jay’s Original Totes is an interesting choice with pickles, pickled jalapeños, and crushed Fritos. The portions are fair to large, and they always have specials on the board to try. Last night I tried the seafood ravioli, which was great and had a seafood filled Alfredo sauce on top. (This should probably be a staple menu item - just so there’s something for people who aren’t into burgers and fried seafood). I saw chicken and waffles on the board too. I’d love to see this place branch out more as they get established! The only thing we’ve tried so far that wasn’t a fav was the macaroni, which had no flavor unfortunately. Missed opportunity for break crumbs or buttery ritz cracker topping and some good cheddar or even a lobster mac dinner option considering the region? Aside from the Mac side, all that for the small town of Lisbon makes this an easy 5 stars.”

“Duende feels like a little slice of Spain in Hanover! Everything from tapas to the decor are so authentic. I have visited Spain a few times and love it very much, and dining at Duende made me feel like I was back in Granada without having to take a flight. I love how the menu shows which region of Spain each dish is from. We have eaten here twice and so far everything has been delicious! This restaurant is a great addition to Hanover, perfect for a date night or happy hour with friends. I would recommend it to everyone, and especially those who appreciate Spanish food and culture!”

“They've done a great job with the decore! The space feels clean, bright, and welcoming. Service was outstanding and the food arrived fast and was very good. I ordered the chicken fried steak with poached eggs. It was delicious and perfectly cooked. My only complaint, and this is just more of a preference thing, is that the dish comes with an enormous biscuit but not enough gravy. I think I'd order extra gravy next time. My husband ordered the eggs Benedict and other than the too thin ham, he really enjoyed it. We also got pancakes for the table and they were absurdly wonderful - like vanilla cupcake pancakes. They might not be everyone's cup of tea but it was a nice treat. We are looking forward to trying more of the menu on our next visit.”

“We landed here by chance but we decided to give it a try. I liked the lay out of the place, the space man cut out and the couches. Their menu isn’t very large but their bread and bakery items are baked in house which is great. I ordered the blueberry turkey sandwich, it had sliced turkey, apples, lettuce and blueberry jam, turkey BLT, spicy BLT a grilled cheese and 3 smoothies and a plain croissant. Smoothies were a bit pricey for the size but everything is fresh, the croissant was really good. Although their menus is small, all food items were good, the only downside was that I would have expected to taste the pineapple on my smoothie but I didn’t.”

“It was a great night out. Our server was very friendly. I had the Chicken sandwich which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. My boys both got Mac and cheese sides which was a perfect portion for them and my oldest also got a single cheeseburger which he loved. The boys said the Mac and cheese was really good. I also had the beat and goat cheese salad which was amazing. To top it all off the boys had ice cream and chocolate chip cookies and they even had dairy free ice cream for me to have. The chef definitely put a lot of thought into the menu. The music was nice and it wasn't too loud for my boys. The bathroom was clean and we will definitely be back. We have also gotten take out from them and everything was delicious as well. We will be back.”
