    Pricey, but good food. Probably the best option in Lyme, unless your in a rush.

    I've been happy with all of the pasta dishes I've had here and the muffins are good. However, I recently ordered a large pizza with extra cheese, prosciutto, and kalamata olives, and it was unbelievable salty. It actually tasted as if someone had poured a shaker of salt on the pizza. it came to over $25 and we wound up throwing it out. Inedible.

    I enjoyed dinner with friends at the restaurant on Friday 11/1. The food was delicious—I had the fettuccine carbonara—and the service very good. The artwork by local artists is a nice touch. Four stars for the restaurant. Now read the next paragraph.

    On the other hand, a week later I was less than impressed with the café. If you’re not in a hurry and enjoy poor service, this is THE place for you. Enjoy! I didn’t. Two stars though for the almond croissant, and the latte when it was finally delivered.

    The sandwiches here are amazing! The dinner was delicious! I wish I was close enough to eat here often.
