“I've been happy with all of the pasta dishes I've had here and the muffins are good. However, I recently ordered a large pizza with extra cheese, prosciutto, and kalamata olives, and it was unbelievable salty. It actually tasted as if someone had poured a shaker of salt on the pizza. it came to over $25 and we wound up throwing it out. Inedible.”

“Truly a "tavern" experience—the beautiful outdoor path to the entrance leads you to an equally-beautiful log-cabin-like interior. My only complaint is that every dish I've tried there has some element that makes it fall just short of being great. For example, I got the bacon-wrapped meatloaf for the second time last night, and for the second time was underwhelmed by the mashed potatoes, which I found to be flavorless. The asparagus was just all right, if a little charred, but the meatloaf and bacon were both excellent. However, the beautiful dining location, friendly service, and overall experience almost always overshaddows my dissatisfaction with the food.”

“Many guests stayed at the Lyme Inn to attend our wedding a few towns over, and we arrived early and stayed for a few nights in advance of the wedding to finalize last minute details. From start to finish, the Lyme Inn is a 5 star experience. Jack, the Innkeeper, bent over backwards to help us out and accommodate our requests. Elizabeth was lovely and helpful throughout as well. The Inn itself is spectacular. It is one of the the most elegant and we’ll appointed places I’ve stayed. Every room was beautiful. Ours in particular, had a massive bathroom with a tub, a working fireplace, and the comfiest bed. Our guests raved about it. We will be recommending this place forever, and plan to return. So do many family members and friends. Thank you so much for everything.”

“We have been meaning to come for some time and loved it! The food and service were top notch. Menu changes constantly, and we recommend sharing 3 small plates between 2 people and getting dessert. I wore dress jeans and a button shirt. Most (all?) of the crowd were noticebly older, but we enjoyed ourselves.”
