Alas de Frida

The food is so flavorful, fresh & not greasy. I ordered the La Flaca bowl several times bc it's so damn good. I branched out and ordered shrimp & scallop fajitas this time. Delicious! I need to try more of the menu.

The chips & salsa are badly lacking salt, but otherwise this is a great Mexican restaurant.

The house margarita here was amazing had a great flavor and came in a unique glass. Drink tasted great but wasn't very strong alcohol wise. I also got the toasted avocado tacos. It didn't have much flavor and the avocado was mushy did not taste fresh. They give you the standard chips and salsa for free, as well. The building itself is a bit small but they have tables along the wall and a bar area. There were definitely a lot of people waiting to get a table here and no where to wait. A lot of people were clustered around our table while we were eating. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, about average.

I only came to pick up food but it smelled like BO when I came in for that brief period. I got my food and my California didn't have french fries as described in the burrito. I just wanted to know what it would be like. And don't order a veggie California burrito if you want straight up broccoli heads in it. Like I wasn't expecting that nor was it a good combo. The birria tacos were average and just lacked cheese. But above average for Manchester according to my bf. It's not bad food but I don't think I'd be coming back here.

We got the Al Pastor meat stacker, and it was delicious! We had enough food for 2 plus leftovers. The house margarita was also a must-try. We'll definitely be coming back!

I ordered two different fruity margaritas, they were absolutely delicious. Also enjoyed a fried cheesecake that was also so good.
