“This place is the real deal and a nice place to listen to music on any given night. While the joint may not be jumping every week night you can count on Shaskeen to be a good place to grab a drink and meet some friends. I stopped in on a whim just to see what might be good to do in Manchester and ended up meeting new friends and some old ones. I then proceeded to stay several more hours for the music and atmosphere. “What a great spot! Ended the evening here with a cocktail or two. All the staff we super welcoming and engaging, one found us seats at the bar, another was seated next to us enjoying a drink while not working and chatted about the menu, and everyone behind the bar was happy to talk about the drinks. “We went for Saturday brunch and the offering was limited but I understand as there was not much traffic. To us the flavors were what I call, "pastel like", washed out flavor of the real thing. When I order Italian or French I am pleased with subtle flavors but when I am at a Mexican or Indian restaurant, I much prefer a punch. No punch here. The naan was spot on and the service was very good.”

“Great lunch spot in Manchester if you're looking for a delicious burrito or other Mexican dishes. They are fast and the food is fantastic but if you get there after 12 it can usually get busy. “My wife and I had dinner at the Crown Tavern on Friday night. It's a fun, modern place that has a retro diner feel. The food, service, and drinks were all topnotch. We started with the oysters, and found them fresh and full of flavor. The mains were also very good. My wife had the roasted chicken, I had the burger. Both meals were well-prepared and had great flavor. Dessert was the apple crumble, which was very satisfying. We had a wonderful experience and will be back next time we're in town.”

“We have been to ignite often. We keep going back because the food and service is always consistent. The entire staff is friendly and personable. Usually, you wait less than 15 minutes even in peak time. The best part is that you can order from the hooked kitchen or the ignite kitchen at either place. I’ve ordered many things, but my favorites are the chicken la rosa, the seafood trio, and the ribeye. Sitting outside in the summer is one of my favorite things to do. I will keep going back.”

“We stopped by Hooked after the show at Palace Theater. It was completely unplanned. I did not think I was even hungry but the smell from the place was so tempting that we had to go in. I am glad that we stopped by there. The place is cozy, not many seats, sort of a rustic feel. Food was delicious and the pricing was reasonable for downtown area. It is on my top 5 list now! “What a wonderful time we had! We specifically came here to try the Oasis Cafe during their weekend hours. Upon arrival, we were met by Laurie and she was absolutely fantastic! She made our food for us and told us about how this amazing place came to be! There is legitimately so much love and care put into this entire establishment. The food was absolutely incredible and fresh. The Panko bacon mac & cheese bites were my favorite. All the food had an amazing unique flavor and I will definitely say that if you are looking for a new place to try on the weekends, come here! It would be so cool if the cafe was open everyday because I would probably have a Panko bacon mac & cheese daily addiction. Anyhow, the entire visit was incredible! Laurie and Rob were absolutely amazing and incredibly welcoming. We look forward to coming back and enjoying more food along with some of their inhouse activities!!”

“I had the steak burrito lunch meal. The steak seasoning was unbeatable, very good! The service was fast and friendly. They did a good job getting the business ready, it was very clean with not a huge selection but plenty to choose from. The bar sits in the back of the restaurant and has plenty of offerings. My only complaint ,( and it's not really a complaint) would be that sour cream should be served with the burrito meal. Other than that, it's a great little restaurant.”
