Stopped here on way up to Maine Seacoast. Corned beef hash was great. Eggs Benedict with sausage, mushrooms, and brussels sprouts was delicious. LEO also very good. Service super friendly and the place itself is very cute.

Great food, fantastic staff, lively atmosphere. It's a must go for breakfast or lunch. Expect a bit of a wait on the weekends. It's well worth it. A locals favorite. No cell phones. Cash is king at Colby's.

My husband and i had brunch here yesterday and it was FABULOUS!!! I love the atmosphere of the place and our waiter was probably one of the nicest we have encountered in our travels. We tried their homemade hash and although i have NEVER seen carrots in hash it was still pretty good. Every other part of our meal was over the top great. Will be going back

Stopped in for breakfast while on a quick trip to Portland from out of town. I liked the feel of the dining area. I grabbed a seat right next to the window. There is a no cell phone policy in the dining area, which adds to the quaintness of the spot. The food was great. I got corned beef hash, which was made from scratch. I got my eggs cooked over easy, which came out perfectly. They even served the eggs on top of the hash so the yolks would break on top...its like they knew me. Highly reccomend.

First time visit. Great breakfast. Had the Irish Benedict. Very tasty and poached eggs were cooked perfect. Corned beef hash was excellent.
I was meeting someone there for business and got there 15 minutes early. It's good that I did - it took that long to get a table at 8:45 on a drizzly Friday morning. It's a cozy dining room with limited seating and at times the volume of discussions around us kept escalating - to a point where we felt like we were in a fish market in Seattle. It was fun and will definitely be returning for both the excellent food, and the atmosphere! Looking forward to trying one of those pancakes that are way too large for the plate.
