After reading the rave reviews, I decided this would be the perfect place for a nice dinner for my husband and I. We made reservations for a Friday night which they were ready for as soon as we arrived. We were greeted by the executive chef and owner, Julie, who sat us and filled our water and made us feel right at home in her home! The waitress, Sarah, was friendly and welcoming as was all the staff as they helped each other throughout the entire time we were there. The cornbread with butter and honey is incredible. I think we could have eaten two more! My husband had the lobster Mac and cheese which was overflowing with large chunks of lobster and a thick, bisque like cheese sauce. He savored every bite. I had the vegetarian Wellington which was refreshing and filling. We were happy we got to experience such a great atmosphere with delicious food and a staff that is full of sweet people who truly aim to make your dinner experience excellent.
I had been DYING to try this place, and this weekend I was finally able to make it in. The layout is a bit cramped, but the atmosphere is mostly quaint. Was a little disappointed to be seated literally in front of the kitchen where the waitstaff lines up to pick up orders. Not exactly pretty to see a bunch of dirty dishes stacked on the counter while you're eating...Speaking of staff, everyone was super nice! The drinks were also fabulous, but I regret that I wasn't as "wowed" by the food as I thought I was going to be. The portions & presentation were great, but just not overly flavorful or interesting. It was "good". I'm glad I finally got to try it, but for the price & limited menu options, I don't think I'd bother going back.
Super good... Really loved our dinners...we tried to go to other higher rated restaurants, fortunately they were booked and we found Cure...what a little gem...we ate on the patio and was quaint. Started with the peanut butter and jelly short ribs, sounds strange really a great blend, worth a try...Almond crusted salmon and pork chop. We both really liked our meals. The pork chop was tender and moist... Lots of flavor...what a little special spot. We'll be back when we're in the area again!
We went to this lovely restaurant to celebrate my 15 year old foodie son's birthday. We felt welcome, despite looking a little scruffy. We all loved it, but 2 out of 3 rate it the best meal that we've ever had. Get dessert!
OH MY GOSH!!!! JUST ATE HERE. we had an amazing time. The atmosphere was terrific. Food was even better! the food was so good. I had Peanut Butter appetizer ribs, sounds off but is so good and comforting. Also had the red pepper soup which was amazing!!! My wife had the salmon and French onion soup. All the food was gone. Could not get enough it was so good. We had the opportunity to meet Julie and spoke about some of her recipes and her new little one. We talked about child development and so many other things. She helped us celebrate our 10 year anniversary. Julie was amazing and so welcoming. The waitstaff was so good and friendly, even those who were not attending our table. Cannot wait to go back!
