What a wonderful experience! From the decor to the presentation of the hostess and our bartender, everything was incredible. We were so impressed by the ambiance and how knowledgeable and friendly the staff were. The oysters are a great deal at a dollar each every day up until 5 o’clock. Furthermore, we ventured on to order fried oysters and clam chowder which were nothing short of amazing. We were so thrilled and satisfied with our dining experience after a failed one at the Friendly Toast nearby. I highly recommend trying this place. We will be back time and time again each time we visit the area! Thumbs up and 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Exited I95 at Portsmouth for lunch, and found restaurant quickly. Main problem is finding close parking, but a public parking deck 3 blocks away works. Food was very good, included was salad, raw oysters and fish and chips... Pollock instead of cod superbly prepared. Also, nice selection of local beers and service good. Five stars but for parking, though would not stop us from dining here again.
A perfect place to hang out no matter what type of day or night you are looking for. Want to drink some good beers and eat a solid burger while watching the game? Check. Want to drink some nice bottles of wine and eat fro the raw bar? Check. Want to have a bunch of friends for a dinner on the later side and share a bunch of seafood? Check! I’ll definitely be back to check all these boxes whenever I’m back in Portsmouth.
On a Friday night, we were fortunate to find two seats at the bar. We had eaten earlier in the day, so we weren’t very hungry but availed ourselves of the seafood selection.
We had toasted homemade bread with blue fish pate and pickled onions. Fantastic. We also enjoyed several types of New England oysters.
Cocktails were great along with the service.
Visiting the area on business and ate here for dinner one night and appetizers/ drinks next night. Excellent selection of local New England raw oysters....fresh, excellent and can order with caviar on top! Very fresh!
Mignonette sauce just excellent! Shrimp cocktails were best, firmest shrimp I've ever experienced! And the Fluke dinner was fresh and superb! Awesome sleek atmosphere! Will always seek a Row 34 anytime I'm ever back in New England area!
