Edit - I live in Clinton, CT - the home of Lobster Landing, which is a perennial contender for the best lobster roll in New England, and I'll submit that Castaway's lobster BLT might be the best I've ever had!”

“Nestled over behind the back of the Hampton Beach Casino this beach pizza place is a favorite amongst folks who work around here. Deciding to go for a drive one Wednesday evening in early June after work, we drove to Hampton Beach, as I was recently recovering from a surfing injury we were enjoying a lazy evening and decided to indulge in our favorite food: Pizza. I was surprised that the little pizza place has a parking lot and that about a dozen teenagers were sitting outside eating. We ordered a couple of slices of Extra Cheese, Mushroom, and Pepperoni pizza and a Fresca and a Lemonade. We then drove over to the area with the stage to the right of the playground and parked overlooking the ocean to eat. I had no expectations as I had never been here before and found the pizza squares interesting. It reminded me of a private school lunch pizza, but I couldn't figure out why. The Extra Cheese pizza has a slice of Provolone cheese on it. Otherwise, it's heavy on the sweet marina sauce and light on the cheese. The mushroom pizza and pepperoni both appear as if the toppings were cooked separately and added on as an afterthought. However, for a quick on the go meal, and the price point, you have nothing to complain about here unless you don't like pizza or have dietary restrictions in which case this isn't your best bet. I would try this out again.”

We had the special of twin lobsters for only the surprisingly low price of $18.99, which is a deal they have every day of the week. Our service was fast and friendly and the lobster was amazing and had loads of delicious meat. After all 3 of us got the twin lobsters we were further surprised to see that the total bill was only $61.00!!! Definitely recommend!!”

“The captain and crew were excellent hosts for our 2-hour lobster tour today. The boat was well maintained and the crew showed great respect to us and the lobster tradition. Our group of 6 ranged in age from 7 to 91 years old and we all enjoyed the hands-on learning provided by the crew. We purchased 8 of the lobsters caught during our trip and had an amazingly fresh lobster dinner just 5 hours after bringing them aboard. Captain Bob's is the best!”

“A great hidden place few know of to pick up fresh right of the boat lobsters, crab and Steamers. A family owned business and the place is the best spot around to buy seafood and cook it yourself. There is a big difference between fresh off the boat lobsters and ones that have been in a tank for weeks. The Woman who runs it is very nice and they work hard to bring us super fresh shellfish. ????”

“Great place to eat while visiting Hampton beach. Had BBQ chicken wrap, 6 ounce lobster roll, chicken Caesar salad, and clam chowder. Directly across the north Hampton Beach with restrooms. On-site parking for about 20 cars with picnic tables. They have ice cream too. Remember no fried foods at this location, and it's seasonal. Closes at end of October.”

They didn't just reheat my steak like most restaurants do. $50 bill and tipped $20 because they more than made up for the steak. “The food here was fine and I had no problems with anything in the restaurant except for the fact that every single solitary one of their high top stools has had the foot rest removed. I was shocked when I sat in it and went to put my foot up and just felt air. So then I went to move to another stool and noticed that not a single one of any of the stools in the restaurant had foot rests. I was so shocked that I asked the people working why they had been removed and all of them behaved as though they had never even thought about it before. And I know that they once had foot rest because they were marks where they had been attached. In the subway, if you want to sit down, expect to have your feet dangling.”

“The very best thing about it is the food. We had the hibachi, I had a snapper and my husband had salmon. I think the waitress asked us if we want fried rice or fried noodles with it. We never order that we always get steamed rice, so that was odd. Second odd thing is we asked her for the best specialty roll and she recommended the Fuji I think? It had crab on top, hot crab. It was very delicious but then she came and picked up the plate and said next time try the dragon roll it’s even better. We asked for the best one. If I were to give a suggestion I would suggest updating the name on the building so it’s legible. It took us days to realize it was a Japanese steakhouse. Also waitress be a little more friendly.”
