All of the food was delicious and waitstaff was friendly and efficient. We went at 5:00 on a Tuesday so no wait - actually almost had the place to ourselves! But it quickly filled up! “1st impression...GREAT PLACE! Service was perfect. Tried the baked haddock, steak tips and salad. All were very good. The deep fried onion was just the way I like it and should be served...slightly over cooked to get some crunch and not have that "wet" bottom half. Great local beer menu. Fun atmosphere and all in a barn setting. My new favorite place. UPDATE...20April19... At the bar for drinks and apps...try the Spinach & Artichoke bread bowl. Has pita chips and is very tasty. Goes great with a beer or cocktail. CRYSTAL was our bartender, treated us like family. Great suggestions and good conversation...keep it up!”

“Been here a few times. The first couple times were right after the grand opening and the bagel breakfast sandwiches were amazing with perfectly toasted bagels. The last couple times I came here the bagels for the breakfast sandwiches weren't even toasted. Came for lunch one day with coworkers and the cashier didn't seem to know what to do with the rewards program. The amazing bagels I had the first 2 times are the only reason why this rating isn't lower than 3 stars.”

“Visiting the area from new jersey and hotel staff recommended this place. Living so close to NYC we often go eat at high end places in the city and let me tell you, this food is as good and even better as those high end NYC restaurants. The service was top notch and fast. All five of us lived the food and the Bavarian creme cake was to die for. Who would have known this gem would be hidden in a small new England town. Next time we come up to Dover we will definitely be back!”

“Great chain restaurant! Food is consistent and tasty. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Went here for a light lunch with my wife and little girl and had an enjoyable lunch. There are a lot of good restaurants in New England. By no means does this three star review mean it’s bad, there is fierce competition and this place is dated. The salad was a great portion and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. The chowda is tasty and we all enjoyed taking it down. The rum punch was a great touch and made in house. Bring the family down and go enjoy a fun meal!”

“Do yourself a favor and next time you’re in Dover, stop by Sonny’s. Great local beer and amazing food. I ordered the dry aged pork with truffle risotto and braised greens. The pork was so juicy and flavorful and the grits were AMAZING. I haven’t had pork prepared this well in a long time. I wish I ordered a whole damn plate of the grits to have some to take home. The greens were cooked well and a god mix of tangy and spice. No reservations needed, but it’s nice to be able to seat yourself.”
