“What an experience! Firstly, our waitress and chef seriously took care of us. I have a lot of food allergies and they went out of their way to consult me and ensure my safety. The chef took my selection from the menu and created an allergy-friendly version of it. It was delightful! My friend is intolerant of gluten and they also went out of their way to ensure her safety while providing a delicious experience. I normally find one item on a menu I'm interested in, there were at least 4 or 5 and all of my friends loved what they got. The ambiance is comfortable and modern, the alcohol selections are good. Will return!”

“Great selection of unique food. The Captain's Toast is battered in Captain's Crunch and the thick bread is perfect. The corned beef hash was highly recommended by others at the bar and it did not disappoint. It is heavy on the meat and the potatoes are soft and well-seasoned. Getting seated was awkward because I wasn't sure what to do. BTW, it's seat yourself. They could do better about taking names and calling when there's a seat available.”

“I went with family and everything we had was close to perfect. I worried a bit when there were a few ingredients they were out of, but the substitutions they made were as good or better. The veggie dumplings seemed to be homemade and we scarfed them down. The service was exceptional, attentive but not intrusive, like a high end restaurant. That really put the gold finish on an otherwise excellent meal.”

“I worked at Weeks' Backstreet Kitchen, the restaurant that previously occupied The Nook's location. The changes made by the new owner and staff are impressive. The newly renovated dining room is cozy but modern, the updated menu and special dishes are as creative as they are tasty, and the staff whether new or returning are friendly as ever. The owner Tammy shows how much she cares about her customer's dining experience in her hard work. The Nook is proving that you can have good food fast in Downtown Dover.”

“This certainly isn't the highest quality sports field that Dover had to offer but it gets the job done for the most part. Bring your own seating arrangements if going to see a soccer or lacrosse match here and be warned this field has a lot of areas that don't drain to well if it's drizzling. I used to play ultimate Frisbee in this field and it worked for that. Also a convenient disc golf course right next door that is really nice to play in the warmer seasons.”

“I must say, the prices were very reasonable, and the food did come out fairly quickly. The Dinning area was quite large, enough room for alot of parties of people. The staff were kind, and the people helped the atmosphere feel very family oriented. The only flaws I found were a few of the cousins in the booths looked like a patient that was on the operating table, and when I asked for pickles on my sub, there were few, coined on the very top so they could fall off as I took each bite. Over all the portions were nice and large, I did have to take mine home to finish, and the atmosphere was very friendly. I would recommend to a friend as one of the better sub shops in town.”

“Clean and pretty good. I prefer Dos Amigos in downtown, but this is a consistent burrito option. I usually get a burrito bowl. If you want a little more than usual, get the wrap and the bowl. Have them put the wrap in the bowl and then have them fill it up. Get a half and half meat option. This should give you the most food for your buck. Parking is a little weird, but you should be able to find spaces behind the restaurant by the Aldi.”
