I’ve had traditional dumplings in multiple cities and I gotta say, the husband and wife duo are great and the food they put out is amazing. “So glad we gave this place a try after the sleek and loud world of the casinos. Nestled along the waters edge, Gilchrist is a comfy, down-home restaurant with a maritime atmosphere. It had excellent service, very good breakfasts and the best coffee I ever had. I even drank it black! Happy that they served grits as a side option too. Omelets were nicely filled with cheese, etc. Blueberry pancakes were really good! Prices were average, regular size portions. I can’t wait to go back for the coffee again!”
