Not sure what happened to the quality of this place…they usually have excellent wings and tenders. Born and raised here in SP, this place is typically a good place for food.

I guess it all began with the rude, miserable woman who answered the phone to take my order. Impolite and the personality of a wet mop.

Wings were undercooked; tenders were legitimately the size of Wendy’s. Are they using chickens who were beaten, battered & abused on the farms?

If you’re wondering why this is a 3 star review and not 1 - the waitress who did eventually help me upon arrival — clearly not the miserable wench who took my order over the phone - was friendly and willing to help.

Thank you to her - hopefully her positive and uplifting attitude rubs off on the right people (and chicken) there.

I haven’t been to this place in probably 20+ years. Everyone says the Buffalo wings are some of the best around. I have to say I am in agreement. These just edge out Charlies in taste with the mild sauce. The wings were cooked perfectly and the wing pieces seemed to be more or a light meat in comparison to others. The tenders aren’t your area standard and seem more tender than others that can be a little dry and stringy.

The side tossed salad was a very good size and the Jalapeño Ranch dressing was good, had a little more heat than I anticipated.

If I had one complaint it is the lack of wing sauce at the bottom of the bowl. With meaty tenders i like to dip back in the wing sauce at the bottom but my order was lacking in this area vs, Charlie’s makes sure you have plenty.

I’ll definitely return.

Just a great local "hole in the wall" in the most positive way! Actually, it still has a pool table....hard to find these days. Wings are great and plentiful. A good example of old school no frills bar with solid food choices. 👌

Awesome staff!!! Tracy I think her name is, the waitress on Tuesdays is so nice and friendly! Tenders are the best in Somers point and surrounding areas, way better than anyone that claims they have the best in South Jersey!! Really crispy and amazing flavor with every sauce on the menu. Their hottest sauces is just the right level of heat and flavor and their scampi sauce cools down the heat really very and has little pieces of shrimp in it. If you haven't been there you are missing out!
