“It's good to see something different open up in the Oakland/Franklin Lakes area...have ordered out and eaten in and the food has been delicious. Enjoyed the mix grill and the bread served with the hummus is delicious. My wife enjoyed her salmon dish. Everything is fresh and delicious. Jason waited on us and very personable with excellent service. When they forgot a dish for pickup they delivered it right away. Need a place like this to succeed around here to provide more variety.”

“An amazing place. The very essence of small town Italian American restaurant. Excellent pizza, appetizers, pasta and entrees. It's all delicious. The owner and staff are all friendly and know how to treat their customers. I used to work in a similar type of Italian specialty shop which was one of the best experiences of my life. Just waiting for my food at Uncle Louie's reminds me of those great times. I would name specific dishes that are excellent but half the menu would be on that list. Insider hint: if the phone number is consistently busy when you're trying to order, just use their online ordering system. And yes it gets busy very often (for all the reasons mentioned above)”

“Love playa bowls so much. I just discovered that there was one located five minutes from my job. Kinda dangerous. Their blueberry based granola is to die for. I legit can just buy a huge bad and eat it. Their decor is like no other. Makes me feel right at their jersey shore location. Very calm beachy and bright. “So the two negative reviews here shouldn't even be allowed to be posted. I go there all the time, food is great, food price is very fair. Considering rent is through the roof in Franklin Lakes, this is not Paterson. So the last negative review is upset because they reserved for 6 but only 4 showed up (doesn't matter why) and I guess they expected to be left in the 6 person table, well that's business, that's life. And it seems your fire paranoia is a personal issue you need to take up. The other negative review is a job applicant who according to poster is 10 minutes late. I employ many people, with me of your late you dont even walk in my office.”
