“The food was authentic, fresh and altogether outstanding. You can tell the chef is picky about the ingredients as a lot of dishes were crafted to let the ingredients really shine. The tea leaf salad was unique and refreshing. The egg curry was complex, exciting and absolutely delicious. We were absolutely stuffed when we left, but we had to try the banana leaf sticky rice... and I'm so glad we did! Highly recommended.”

“This is my go to place when I’m in the mood for a fresh salad which is always made by the best salad maker named Sheena. Fresh ingredients and the grilled chicken is tasty. They also have hot food and sandwiches which never miss. Owner is a good guy and the staff there are wonderful. Only complaint is that there always seems to be customers who don’t know how to park, but with no fault of the market, of course. Just giving customers a heads up to be careful how and who you park next to.”

Well, let me tell you that I am a pain in the butt with food and ordering. .. this food is DELICIOUS. It is fresh, it is cooked perfectly. I don't enjoy cooking and don't have time. “Went for New Year's Eve, had never been to a Ruth's Chris before. The service was excellent, in fact it's rare to encounter such friendly wait staff these days. Decor is tasteful and casually elegant. But honestly, I go for the food and expected much better based on what I'd heard. The surf and turf featured a nice, tender set of lobster tails, but the 6-ounce sirloin was dry and had a flavor similar to fried liver. Caesar salad was good, as were the desserts. Side dishes were nothing to write home about. Overall, for the price, I can easily say I prefer similar dishes at Morton's or even Outback. They do treat you well here though.”

“Who would have thought that a place called Uncle Paulie's served Peruvian food? Delicious food and ample serving size. Definitely order the Uncle Paulie's Chicken which is a whole rotisserie chicken marinated in Peruvian sauce. Be sure to check out their combo deals and you won't regret it. The place is small so you might need to wait on busy days but it is worth it. Oh, don't be surprise to see Chinese dishes in the menu. Definitely going to try it out the next visit.”

“Hadn't been here in a while. Now I won't make that mistake again. I came twice in the week and was very happy with the food. Had a hot hero and asked them to make it on garlic bread. It was fantastic. Next trip I ordered pasta. Just as good. And I ate a slice while I waited. The sauce and the pie dough great. Front counter is very clean. And they have 2 tbs to watch while you wait.”

“Came here for breakfast on a Sunday and it was a mad house. I’m like it must be delicious. There was a line outside of the door. We put our names in for a table for two and waited about 20-25 minutes. Not bad considering the amount of people that were there. They did the best they could with the space and crowd that day. Our waitress was very nice and attentive, even with all of the tables she was covering. The food was great. My boyfriend ordered a skillet which normally comes out on a hot plate but it came on a regular plate. Everyone does things differently so that’s okay. I would definitely come back. My tip is to get there early so you can wait on a table but make sure when they call your name, everyone is there because I saw the hostess give away a 6 person table because not everyone was there. I felt bad for the lady because she was there a while, it wasn’t her fault her sister couldn’t find parking. But i also get that they need to keep servicing and clearing tables. :)”

“Cozy place, nicely decorated. Service is usually friendly and attentive. Food is okay but really nothing notable. Best appetizers are the hot eggplant and the hummus. Best entrees are any of the kebab entrees. Best dessert is the rice pudding. Appetizer salads are good. Stay away from the lamb shank (inedible). Most everything else is mediocre. If you want better food, Taverna Mykonos in Elmwood Park is much better, albeit pricier.”
