“Nice store but their bagels leave a lot to be desired. Their flagel is thicker than a regular bagel (see pic)! A bagel with lox is $14.99 but only has smallish slice of lox, barely any onions, etc. Not great flavor wise as well. Will try again in like 6 months and see if they got better but won’t be back for a while…”

“La Mensa may already be the best restaurant in Bergen County. My wife and I dine out 3-4 times per week . We heard they were opening soon and we went there Saturday and Sunday. The menu, food and service were awesome. Most restaurants are struggling finding quality well trained staff. Not La Mensa, likely because the owners are there and engaged with the customers. Next weekend, we will have a party of 6 and know all will feel as we do.”

“Fries are out of this world. Hot dogs are average at best. Too salty. Chili sauce is great though. Grilled chicken sandwich is a hit or miss. Wings are amazing, albeit overpriced. Edit: after multiple additional orders after my review, I must say the hot dogs are pretty damn good. At the very least, unique. It’s fried (at least it tastes like it was fried) so it has a different taste than regular hot dogs. Wings have been on the decline however. Do you reheat or refry Wings now? Doesn’t taste as good as it used to. Sauce is still great though. Oh and order double portions of the chili sauce since they give you extremely small portions (note the price is extremely cheap, which makes up for it)”

“I went Asahi Sushi for lunch with my family. We did "eat all you can" and were allowed to order all kinds of appetizers, sushi, sashimi, rolls, tempura, and dessert. All foods were fresh and delicious. They were cooked just after we ordered by the chefs at the sushi bar. The place is quiet with soothing music. We were allowed to choose a regular table or a table that you can slide in, which I found more convenient. Waitresses were kind and efficient. Price is very reasonable. This is one of the best restaurants that I have been at and would give more stars if I could.”

“Great date night spot. The staff treats you like family. The food is always great. Atmosphere is homey, Italian. Love that the staff has the cooking station and you can often watch them make dessert or fish. Never had a bad meal here and never expect to because everything is fantastic.”
