Had dinner at old town pub last night. Everything was awesome. Our waiters name was Justin. He was great. Scallops were fantastic. Great place to eat. Hot looking hostess too. Gary & Judy
Healthy mix of rotating local beers and a few always on tap crafts, plus all the regular domestics for the non-craft crowd. Excellent cocktails. Everything on the food menu rocks and the specials are usually awesome. Chef is professional. The staff is well trained and Mike the owner is a great guy. Congenial mix of regular locals and a fun weekend crowd. You will meet old friends and make new ones every time you go. Love OTP.
Pub fare, good drink selection, craft beers and wine on tap? Was bit skeptical of the wine on tap but got the house red blend and it was very nice. Live music on weekends so bar gets busy. Was fun but crowded, was able to get 2 seats at bar for our group of 7, so we shared seats. Band playing was good, not too loud, did mix of today's hits and yesterday's top hits which appealed to every generation our group. Service was good, only had drinks. Building has historic feel, kept much of the feel of the previous place but menu is now more bar food, casual dining.
Every time I visit the place just keeps getting better and better. Today I had the lobster burger - 10 oz. of Brisket, Short Rib and Chuck blend, topped with lobster, bacon jam and smoked Tequila butter. I ate the whole thing, along with their delicious fries. My wife had a prime rib sandwich on on toasted sourdough bread with frizzled onions and garlic aioli.
Cassie was great and recommended a great draft.
What a fun vibe! I went with my daughter and father. We were seated at a table near the bar. The owner Mike is walking around talking with customers and is really interested in feedback. The staff is attentive, but not in your face. The plate presentation is great and the dish ware should me mentioned- because it is awesome. The sandwiches were delicious and the decor is hip. A great addition to the Bordentown restaurants
