“Long time Toscano’s fan and was excited for this to open. This is my feedback and kids feedback. Lasagna for 2- absolutely delicious but the portion for 2 was just 4 pieces that are 1” wide and 2” long. It taste better and creamier than Marcelos Lasagna by a tiny margin and I like theirs but the portion size just killed it. I live in NYC half the time so I don’t expect a ton. Gnocchi Strattino- it was 8 gnocchis and this caused be to call. Gnocchi was delicious but not a lot of taste in preparation. Eggplant Parm- if you like it at Toscanos- you’ll like it here. It’s the same. Was prepared over Gnocchi which ironically they gave more of as a side then they did on the above. I spoke w Donna and was at Toscano’s two days later and she promised to have an appetizer sent to us to make up for the feedback above which she forgot to do. I want nothing more than for this to be a 5. It’s tough times operating in outdoor seating and corona. I hope that they increase portion sizes - it’s pasta made there with flour so it isn’t expensive. I’ll give it another try and hope that it’s just a better experience.”

“Great atmosphere. Range of pricing options from the scrumptious garlic knot sandwiches on the low end to much fancier and costlier fare. Wait staff is pretty friendly as well. Also, you have the choice of dining on the livelier (louder) side or the more intimate and quieter side. It's almost like two restaurants. Good vibe either side. Parking can be a challenge. Municipal lot down the street usually has a spot. This part of town is best experienced at a nice stroll.”

“Amazing spot in downtown Bordentown. I went on a Saturday and they had a special brunch menu along with their normal menus. I ordered the chicken and waffles (buttermilk biscuit). The chicken was tender and not in the least dried out. The waffles were the right mix of crispy outside and soft inside. Even the side salad I chose was delicious! My only recommendation would be to offer pure maple syrup as an option. Great service and top notch food. I’ll be visiting again!!”

“First time to New Jersey and got in late. Searched for somewhere close and decided to try Empire out. We were not disappointed! The dough tastes fresh and homemade, the sauce is flavourful without being too acidic, and the prices were great. We ordered a calzone and stromboli and both were much larger portions than we expected. You could easily share each one with two people and be full. I would highly recommend for a tasty pizza place.”

While there portions and quality or correct some of the things were underwhelming I would advise against the French onion soup unless you like biting into onions like apples, the French onion soup was delicious except for the 5inch by 1inch Long onions, you must really love onion's for this to be worth it, second item was over stuffed jumbo shrimp, now take 3 medium shrimp and an ice cream scoop of crab meat mixture and plop it down on the medium shrimp, and that's what you get not a jumbo shrimp, other than that if you're lucky enough to get Cooper the server then you should have a fine time at this facility.”
