Very nice staff and a chill vibe, sandwich was made quick and if you need it any quicker they have a small pick up window they open in the summer. Pairing smoothies with sandwiches is a little odd, but nonetheless go over and get a bite.”

“My wife and I have watched this building come to life (The MC hotel). This was our first time eating at their restaurant Allegory. The atmosphere and service was excellent, everyone from the hostess, to even the busboys were on point. The food was excellent as well. The sauce with the focaccia bread was wonderful. My pork chop was cooked to perfection and my wife’s steak was amazingly tender, she just wish there was more crispy ends! All in all it was a great experience and we will be back.”

“Very good place for slices of pizza just off the main drag in Montclair. The margarita slice was really awesome. Kind of a bummer that they charge more for a little cup of sauce when you order garlic knots, but the pizza itself was fantastic. We just dropped in for a quick bite to eat before a concert. “The food was great. Is BYOB. This was our first time at this place. I will give it another try and see if the service improves. The server we had was either in a hurry to go home or hiding from the authorities or simply just bored of his job. He wasn't paying attention to what we asked. He brought the salad with a spoon. Opened the wine bottle we brought but didn't serve it. Two of our guests who don't drink alcohol asked for soda and the server kept bringing everything to the edge of the table away from these two guests. I swear he seemed as he was hiding from someone. We were sitting behind the hostess podium. I believe in 2nd changes so I will come back and report to you. The food is really really good I have to say. We didn't have dessert, we'll try next time.”

“Plum on Park gives me the feeling that the owner went to Jamaica got a hit of inspiration or maybe he's just a fan. Bob Marley was playing when we came into the restaurant and Spur Tree pepper sauce it their hot sauce of choice. I'll allow it. :) I had the bread pudding French toast and that probably wasn't the best choice for me. It works if you love bread pudding so much that you want it for breakfast. It sounded like a good idea at the time but after a few bites I was over it. I also had the Banana Coconut Milk, Maple Nutmeg smoothie. It was good at first but once I started eat the French toast, it tasted terrible to me. Those two did not pair well at all and I ended up not enjoying it or finishing it (which never happens). I would have to go back and try the other things on the menu to re-evaluate because they have other delicious sounding dishes. My boyfriend had the shrimp and grits and he let me taste it. It was my first time tasting grits and decided I didn't like it but the flavor of the dish was really good with hot sauce.”
