Hook & Reel Cajun Seafood and Bar

Went on a Saturday night, place was pack but was seated in a reasonable amount of time. Service was really great timely considering the amount of ppl there and super friendly. The food and drinks were amazing. Everything was quality. I would definitely recommend this place. The atmosphere and everything was on point.

The food was surprisingly good. It was reasonably priced and you get your money's worth. The service was pretty good as well I can't wait to go back!

New establishment. Must try!!! So far so good. If you are a seafood lover... crabs especially????. Try the house seasoning!!! It is a garlicky, buttery spicy flavored sauce. It is delicious!! **mom tip- if you dont mind the work of breaking crabs for the kids. Bring them. But I recommend an adult/date night**

The food was very good. We had clam chowder which was delish. Steamed oysters w hook and reel sauce - also very good. For entrees we ordered snow crab & lobster tail. Side of sausage - all excellent. Seafood was cooked perfectly. Although the entrees were served in giant plastic bags that everything had clearly been cooked in, dumping the bag on the plate made it much easier to eat.

One complaint. The servers have not been trained in dropping food tickets appropriately to make sure the appetizer comes out first, after sufficient time to finish soup. Everything came out at the same time. You can’t sit and enjoy your soup when your appetizer and entree hit the table and are getting cold.

It wasn’t just our server and table. The entire restaurant seemed to be served in this poorly coordinated way.

Considering how new the place is hopefully they will be able to tweak the service appropriately.

Food was great but TIMING IS EVERYTHING!!

Very nice and cozy spot. Food was good not spectacular or anything you haven't tasted. But I definitely will return. The mango drink was amazing and strong ...a BIG plus.
