A nice edition to West Orange. The decor is modern, nice and clean. The bar is a plus compared to most Sushi places near by. The sushi however left much to be desired. All the rolls were overloaded with rice and all semmed to taste the same despite ordering different type of rolls. The appetizers were good but the compition of all you can eat in Verona and East Hanover offer kite options.
Great customer service and drinks! The place is new, huge and nice and clean. The sushi was so good.
Great new sushi restaurant. I will definitely be returning with the kids. The atmosphere is mellow and the food is delicious. I can't wait to come back!!
The atmosphere, the quality of the food, and even the presentation of the food was all enjoyable. Since they are still in their soft opening, there are plenty of items available on the menu. Really looking forward to keep coming back.
We went on their second day open and it was awesome. If they keep it up they are going to be our go to sushi place going forward.
The decor and atmosphere were great. There was some nice jazzy music playing in the background. We sat at a booth that was plenty big enough for my wife and I and our baby's car seat. There were a lot of them so I feel confident we'd be able to bring the baby in the future and have somewhere to sit.
The food was fantastic. We both got the All You Can eat option for ~$26/each. There was a good amount of both standard and unique appetizer options. The Kani Jalapeno Bombs were something I've never had before and they were awesome. All the fish tasted fresh and delicious and was an prefect chilled but not overly cold temperature. The rolls were really good.
Unlike many other sushi restaurants around here, this place serves alcohol. There was a small but respectable selection of Japanese and American beer. Plus a selection of signature cocktails. A Japanese beer was $6. The signature cocktails were pricey at $11 each, but they were really tasty and had an appropriate amount of alcohol in them.
Overall it was just great. We'll be going back often.
