Miso Ramen

Interior was nice. But the food was not for me. The pork soup base had msg in it so I was very sleepy and tight behind the neck for a good hour or so. Took an Advil to avoid a coming headache. Drank a lot of water during and after the meal. The pork bun had too much mayo that took away from the flavor of the meat. Was disappointed that half of the pork piece was pure fat. I love my fats but that was a bit excessive. The chicken bun also had too much mayo. Not enough tasty tangy sauce to it. I did like the slaw inside both. No second round for me.

I've been there twice and I'll keep going back. It's really good and the owner is so nice. The ice cream they have is different but very delicious.

I hesitate to write this review because I don't need any more competition getting a table at one of my favorite Miso Soup Restaurants. But whatever, people need to know I guess. Yes, I love this place so much!

This place is a lifesaver for people who work or live around the area It is clean, efficient, and the Miso Soup always tastes fresh. I always get the Seafood Miso and make sure to bring my wine since its BYOB.

I have been to this joint several times and I've never been disappointed. Everything is delicious! Every soup broth is just umami flavorful. The appetizers are delicious too; especially the pork buns. If they were ever to serve sake or Japanese beer I'd have no reason to leave.
