Lievito pizza

*Quarantine Delivery Review*

I think Lievito might be the same as Romano Pizza in Weehawken. I was searching for a pizza spot that also had sandwiches, and I noticed they had the same exact menu. Everything sounded really good so we ended up ordering way too much food for two people. But we figured we could have a few meals of leftover, and support a local business at the same time (or at least that's what I tell myself because I think I really just wanted to pig out). Here is what we ordered:

Meatball Parm Sub - meatballs are solid
Chicken Parm Sub - some parts of the chicken were a bit too thin, which ended up making it a little dry but overall, it wasn't bad
Lievito's Special Pizza (meatball, sausage, pepperoni, onions, mushrooms, and green peppers) - basically a supreme pizza. They don't skimp on the toppings. It's not my favorite crust, but the pizza itself was pretty good
Lievito Appetizer Sampler (chicken wings, chicken fingers, french fries, jalapeno poppers, mozzarella sticks, fried ravioli) - nothing special but it's good if you just want to eat a bunch of fried stuff that's bad for you. It was a bit cold but it tasted a lot better the next day after we popped it into the toaster oven

I really had to stop myself from adding a philly cheesesteak on top of this order, so I think I'll try that out next time, along with some of their specialty pies. Hopefully we will get to go in person and sit down, sometime soon.

Came at the perfect temperature and smelled so good I couldn’t wait to eat a slice of pizza before taking this photo.
Large veggie pizza; filling and very large, crispy thin crust!
Eggplant rollatini, came with pasta, bread, and 4 large rolls; fresh, great sauce & one order could be two servings.
Veggie lasagna, came with pasta & bread, froze for a meal another day (packaging allows to reheat easily in oven).
Broccoli- steamed, super fresh.
Spinach roll- baked fresh & very cheesy
Fried ravioli- crispy & gooey.
Cannolis- a must have :)

Cannot believe this place is so new and killing it during the pandemic. If you’re looking for Italian-grandma-status food, support this local business!!
