“Szechuan House is back after having been closed for ~9 months from a fire in the parking lot. We were so sad when we found out that it was closed last year, but I saw someone review the restaurant recently, and we had to go right away. The chef and staff are all the same. The recipes and the food are the same. We ordered our three regulars: Braised Beef in Hot Chili Oil, Happy Fish, and Chongqing Spicy Crispy Chicken. We were so excited when the food came, I only remembered to take pictures of one of the dishes. The food was excellent, as always. Kirby was courteous and attentive. We look forward to going back.”

“This restaurant has a very welcoming, casual environment and friendly staff. Everything we had was excellent, and made fresh when we ordered it. We especially enjoyed the chicken parmesan and the rice balls. If there was anything we didn't like, it's that all of the drinks are apparently in cans and bottles. This isn't a big deal for a takeout restaurant, but as they clearly have the seating for dining in, it seems a bit odd.”

“While this is a new store that just recently opened, they are a small family run chain from Jackson, NJ. The bagels are excellent chewy and yet with the resistance you want on the outside crust. Definitely have the Egg Everything bagel. It was delicious and only $2.40 with cream cheese. Give them your support and hopefully they will stay open a long time. If the one in Jackson is any indication they will be. They have a Belly Buster sandwich that is to die for, just make sure you have someone to split it with.”

“While visiting my uncle in New Jersey I came hungry and he suggested one if his favorite places across the street from his apartment complex. It was a wonderful experience. I told her I get dessert and she goes oh right what do you want. I asked for some apple pie and then thirty minutes later she's no where to be found and I still have pie? Finally I was like I'm just going to leave, so we got the check and paid. When leaving she goes, oh they never brought you pie, I said no, she goes "oh have a nice day". No apology? No pie? Nothing. I was with one other person and was at the restaurant for 2 hours!! It was crazy, I won't be back not worth it.”

“First, my ratings are based on the quality of my experience, not on whether or not a restaurant is high end. Haven't been to Appleby's in quite a while. Used to be our go to years ago. Went this past Saturday to check out the combo meals (starting at $12.99). We had the twofer appetizers ($10.50) of spinach and artichoke dip and crispy tacos (light and really delicious), the chicken and shrimp combo (with mash potatoes and broccoli) and I ordered a bowl of stuffed potato soup ($5.49). The spouse tried the $1 Jolly Rancher drink (yes, you got an actual Jolly Rancher candy with the drink). Much too sweet and spouse, switched after the one. I had the 9 oz wine - a red mix that was pretty tasty. Then for dessert, we had the mini brownies ($1.99 each), which was a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and a bite-sized brownie topped with fudge. Perfect sized dessert to top off what was a surprisingly satisfying meal.”

“This location is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is hot and comes out quickly. Other times it's slow, they ask you to pull up and then after waiting they bring out the fries ice cold and your sundae is completely melted before you even leave the drive through. I currently tell them i need my fries unsalted just to ensure that i get hot fries. I've noticed some of the staff members have awful attitudes and others are as sweet and as helpful as possible. You never know what your going to get at this location.”

“For dinner I had the Sam Adams seasonal beer the new pretzel on the menu and a thin crust BBQ Pizza. The beer was good the pretzel had a bit of heavy crust on it like it was left in the oven for maybe a minute or two too long but it was still good I had to ask for extra cheese sauce but it came right away and the pizza was excellent. All in all it was a good trip and the waitress by the name of Sam did an excellent job.”
