What a hidden little gem! Being both vegan and gluten-free can be challenging. I like when I come to Lady and the Shallot I don't have to worry about those restrictions. The entire menu is vegan, gluten-free, and nut-free! The food is great tasting and clean. The mushroom cap panini is the best thing on the menu (gluten-free bread used, of course). The rainbow tacos are tasty, well. The owners are super friendly and diligently answer any questions people may have. Very down-to-earth, cool people. They are ready to address any concerns for those worried about allergens. Stop by and give these ladies a try!
Ordered the Italian flatbread with a white bean spread, roasted garlic and roasted tomatoes. It’s simple, filling, and flavorful! The ladies were so pleasant and nice to talk to. I am looking forward to coming back.
I have been working in the Hamilton area for about 3 years now and have not found any Vegan lunch spots. When I saw Lady and the Shallot was within my driving distance I ordered to go. Located inside a Farmer Market gives it a nice vibe and they were extremely kind and fast to prepare my lunch! I ordered The Rainbow, The Italian and The Mushroom Cap. They were all extremely good with a good balance of ingredients and flavor and reasonably priced. I have definitely found my new lunch spot!
All vegan menu, food is very good and so fresh! Owners are very nice! Couple tables to sit and the eatery is right inside the market so can look around afterwards
I definitely found my new food spot. The girls are awesome and the food is incredible. Loved the Rainbow Tacos. So much flavor packed into this meal. Best part is they are right across the street from me. Look forward to trying out the whole menu.
