Came in after a show at the McCarter Theater and were immediately greeted by Jasper when we sat down at the bar. His smile was contagious as was his positive attitude. Even though he was at the last minute of his shift he was patient while we decided what beer we wanted. His relief Kiona was equally as professional and the place was clean and food was delicious
As a bar, looks great and would be excellent. For getting food, most items are just glorified bar appetizers and if they left it at that, would be fine. But the few items they have that you think you are ordering an entree, the meal while good, is barely the size of an appetizer for one person. So it makes what looks like might be a reasonably priced meal on the menu, pretty pricey since it is quite small.
Very quiet and reserved bar on the Princeton campus with a healthy diverse selection of craft beer and mixed drinks. Built in an old train station, it has an old fashioned feel to it. Happy Hour drink specials were a great deal. Loaded Fries were very tasty. It's small so I assume it would get croweded quickly.
Good drinks, food is OK. I keep coming back here. Staff is very courteous as well.
Cute location and interior (renovated station stop). Happy hour is from 3-6pm, which is a decent chunk of time, and cocktails are all $7 and beer/cider for $5. However, there aren't any happy hour deals for food. I tried the Foxy cocktail and it was good, but it was pretty weak - it felt like I was drinking a lime and basil juice. My friend got a cider, which was pretty standard. We both wished there were at least a couple happy hour deals for food - I feel like they'd get more business if so. (We came on a weds afternoon and it was pretty empty). Considering some of the other generous happy hour places downtown, those would probably be my first choice in the future
