“I've been stopping by here every time I'm at the library. The location is so convenient with a door off of the library plaza and the main entrance on Spring Street. The salads are delicious, plentiful and loaded with fresh, crisp, organic ingredients and homemade dressings. Any salad can also be turned into a wrap. The large smoothies could easily be a meal unto themselves. The smoothies are dense - richly packed with good for you ingredients and so very flavorful! It's easy to customize your order, but I've enjoyed all of their pairings. Not only can you find a super tasty, healthy and affordable meal here but you can also feel good about supporting a local business that uses recyclable and environmentally friendly containers and packaging products! The owner is incredibly kind and personable. I've noticed lots of university and high school students coming in and engaging with the friendly staff. With the cooler weather arriving, I'll be in for the oatmeal soon!”

The dine-in bowls are adorable. There is street parking which can be hard to find but there is also a car park across the road (5-minute walk max).”

“Great for light meal. They have ramen, sushi burritos, poke bowls and some sides dishes. We didn't try the ramen, but had sushi burrito and the poke bowl. The fish and ingredients were fresh, and easy to eat. The portion might be a little small for adults. You may want to order one or two side dishes if you're thinking of having a full meal. The staff were nice, and the service was quick. Overall, good place for getting light lunch or dinner!”

Ordering was frustrating, with people who had already ordered clustered in the same place where people were waiting to order. No pies on display unless you got up to the counter and could peek over the top. But the pizza is excellent: good thin, crispy crust, good sauce and cheese. This takes a bit of patience but the food is good.”

“Delicious sushi every time! Their lemon salmon roll, and the sweet potato roll are favorites of mine! Service is attentive without hovering. My go-to sushi place. Sad Update: Went here a week ago, and our service was horrible. We had to wait an hour for our first half of the sushi order. When we finally got our waitress' attention, to inquire why the other half of our order had still not arrived, she took out our slip, read it, and replied to us in an exasperated manner: "that's a dinner roll only" (the delicious lemon salmon roll). Clearly she did not look at our sushi order and try to rectify it before making us wait an hour.... And then almost another hour for the other rolls we ordered instead. Two hours for a sushi lunch?”

“Stopped in for lunch today. We were served by Dhvani. We were met by both the man & woman serving with a “Welcome to Firehouse”, the restaurant was clean & tidy, the restroom was equally as tidy. And I was really impressed by the friendly, helpful customer service. Dhvani was knowledgeable & instead of just getting subs & leaving, we ended up with combos & ate lunch in the restaurant. Really pleased we chose to stop in for lunch, & we will be back next time we’re over here.”

“Foods good but the service is awful! I went there this weekend and was suppose to get dessert with my meal.The waitress never came back to ask if I wanted it just came and brought the check. I told her I get dessert and she goes oh right what do you want. I asked for some apple pie and then thirty minutes later she's no where to be found and I still have pie? Finally I was like I'm just going to leave, so we got the check and paid. When leaving she goes, oh they never brought you pie, I said no, she goes "oh have a nice day". No apology? No pie? Nothing. I was with one other person and was at the restaurant for 2 hours!! It was crazy, I won't be back not worth it.”

“First, my ratings are based on the quality of my experience, not on whether or not a restaurant is high end. Haven't been to Appleby's in quite a while. Used to be our go to years ago. Went this past Saturday to check out the combo meals (starting at $12.99). We had the twofer appetizers ($10.50) of spinach and artichoke dip and crispy tacos (light and really delicious), the chicken and shrimp combo (with mash potatoes and broccoli) and I ordered a bowl of stuffed potato soup ($5.49). The spouse tried the $1 Jolly Rancher drink (yes, you got an actual Jolly Rancher candy with the drink). Much too sweet and spouse, switched after the one. I had the 9 oz wine - a red mix that was pretty tasty. Then for dessert, we had the mini brownies ($1.99 each), which was a small scoop of vanilla ice cream and a bite-sized brownie topped with fudge. Perfect sized dessert to top off what was a surprisingly satisfying meal.”

“This location is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is hot and comes out quickly. Other times it's slow, they ask you to pull up and then after waiting they bring out the fries ice cold and your sundae is completely melted before you even leave the drive through. I currently tell them i need my fries unsalted just to ensure that i get hot fries. I've noticed some of the staff members have awful attitudes and others are as sweet and as helpful as possible. You never know what your going to get at this location.”

“My first time here & the food was actually better than I thought it would be. The onion rings are so delicious, flavorful, crunchy. I ordered the Cajun burger, but it wasn't spicy at all. The burger was good, only thing I'd do differently is get a double because the single patty is too thin & get more jalapeños. Also, my burger was served on a tiny paper plate which I had no space to eat on, not that I'm a messy eater, but I like to put some ketchup on the side of my plate to dip my burger/fries or in this case the onion rings. I'd also try the root beer or orange float next time. Overall, this place wasn't bad.”
