Salt Seafood & Oyster Bar

Great location conveniently across from a parking garage. Full bar with a great bourbon, single malt scotch, and wine list. Fresh oysters, crab cake sandwiches and lobster rolls. Very nice atmosphere for a date. The staff is polite. Just expect the bill to be on the pricey side.

Made reservations on OpenTable and still had to wait 15 minutes.. The wine pour was not generous. The Seafood Tower for two was plentiful.. the presentation was very nice. Excellent. I would suggest serving it with more red cocktail sauce and drawn butter .. I would consider steaming the lobster and the langostein to eliminate excess water in the shell. Definitely a place to return to for seafood. The service was exceptional and the manager was very attentive. Other meals look incredible. Ice cream for dessert a bowl with one scoop was pricey.

This is by far the best food and service available in the area. You can't find better food or service in NY let a lone NJ. I am and intend to be a regular at this magnificent establishment. The staff is warm and friendly and the owner/chef is hands on with no hesitation to please his guests. Gotta give it a try.

The service was great. Cocktails we're delicious! Loved the ambience. We got the seafood tower, crab cake, burger, and sole. All were done perfectly. I highly recommend it.

Honestly never one to write reviews, but this place is an exception. As someone who always goes to yelp to see the ratings on a restaurant before I make a reservation, I feel like I have to give Salt the credit it is due. Most amazing seafood restaurant where every dish from the appetizers to entrees and desserts are perfection. This is a seafood lovers paradise. Be prepared for each dish to surpass your expectations ! And make sure you leave room for dessert, they are all to die for. Make sure you ask for Eddie, he’s the best !
