“I have purchased cakes from Jackie for the past 3 years for all of our events… and she never fails. Her designs are exactly what I ask for and the cake itself is so moist and delicious. So happy she opened up a shop. The neighborhood needs her cakes! Will continue to purchase for all my events. Thank you Jackie and staff!”

“Usually a great place to get Bagels in the area. sadly the service can sometimes be a bit slow even when is not super busy. I also got a burned bagel, which motivated this review, but in my prior experiences the bagels were good (not burned). hoping to have a better experience in the future.”

“We always drove by this amazing place until recently we planned to stop by to have breakfast. Ever since we have had their food we cant wait to go back there over & over again. The old school brick charm of the exterior with patio seating makes you feel you are visiting a nice quaint locality in a small town. Its tucked in the quiet leafy neighborhood of Metuchen with its old school charm.. My go to bagel spot!! They have a free parking on the side which if you are lucky you might get, however, we always park on the back side at the parking lot & its pretty cheap - 50 cents for half an hour & plenty of parking !! Once u enter the store you will get lost in the amazing aroma of freshly baked breads, gourmet muffins, cream cheese, bacons & sausages, sandwiches , salads & ofcourse coffee !! We ordered their everything bagel egg and cheese & bacon(pork/ sausage) sandwiches which is $5.75 and oh man its so filling you cant have it all at once & also their modest egg sandwich is just $2 & egg & cheese sandwich is $2.75!! The coffee have three sizes, we love it as they make it with milk and sugar !! They were crowded, still they turned out our order very quickly..the bagels tasted so fresh !! All their gourmet bagels & breads are hand rolled & made fresh in the premises. Another interesting thing is they sell different gourmet muffins which we are yet to try and the various flavored cream cheeses are sold in three sized containers, salty and sweet (from jalapeno to strawberry) we have not ventured as yet in that area, would love to experiment more, also they serve varieties of salads, omelettes, specialty sandwiches , wraps & Deli meats & cheese !! This being our new go to breakfast joint, definitely coming back to try everything one by one!! Love it already !!”

“Really good bagels, plush, soft and cooked just right on the inside and shiny and lightly done thin hard shell on the outside. I can’t get good bagels in other states so I bought a couple and enjoyed them and I love the toasted bagel with cream cheese and lettuce tomato and onion. Perfectly done and I enjoyed every bite. This cream cheese bagel only cost me $3 so I can’t beat that. Thank you La Bagel. I would have given 5 stars if the person who made me the bagel wasn’t so gruffly and annoyed looking and was not friendly. He was fast and efficient but not pleasant.”

“I loved the food. It just opened 3 weeks again. I stopped by and foresee the manifestation of this business. It was a wait, but it was well worth it. I pray God sends help that is needed for this soul food business needs. I will come back. Lord bless this business, and all hands that you send in their direction.”

“A nice little independent bagel shop that's a welcome alternative to places like Dunkin. My bacon, egg, and cheese on a sesame bagel was tasty and the coffee was good as well.”

“A typical 7-11 location, brightly lit and generally kept sparkling clean. Has the usual assortment of snacks, candy, chips, drinks, coffee, and a smattering of household items. Prices are high, as you pay for convenience and 24-Hour availability. It's no Wawa ... Purchase hot food items at your own risk! But one advantage remains ... it's hard to beat a cold Slurpee on a hot day!”

“My favorite 7-Eleven by far. The employees are very friendly. Always a greeting as you're walking into the store. The store is usually fully stocked and clean. It's another store closer to where I live, but they're not as nice - and the store isn't as clean inside. I don't mind the drive. Love their customer service!”

“Stopped here while on the road. The parking area is enough for a few cars. The coffee was good but the station could be cleaned up a little more. There was a lot of selection and the the rows were clean and organized. It looked like there was only one worker so I would definitely suggest an additional person to assist with maintenance while one person is at the register. The cashier was nice and moved quickly. There is a bathroom which is spacious but could also use some more cleaning. Overall not a bad place to pull in for a rest stop.”
