“Pleasantly surprised. There wasn't a single person in the restaurant at 3:00 pm when we walked in, while the restaurant next door was packed. “This restaurant/bakery is exactly what Colonia needs! Let's begin with the outstanding staff. We walked in just to try this new restaurant and right away we noticed not a single warming heat lamp. It was a great surprise because that usually indicates a cooked to order establishment, which it is. The staff is very informative and descriptive about the dishes, which was an added delight, because this was our first time eating Venezuelan cuisine. They helped make ordering something new very easy. While waiting for our food we were offered samples of some of the specialty drinks, which they make in house and it shows. Now the food. We're not new to trying Latin foods like Peruvian, Colombian, and Mexican. But to our surprise there was a refreshing variety of flavors and textures each dish had to offer. A+ service and food! Dont hesitate to try this place, even if you are unfamiliar with Venezuelan food because they will happily help you.”

“Just like the other reviews mentioned this place is in a food court and meant to be "fast food." It's pretty good considering the fact. Everything was made fresh to order and I liked that they have portion options as well as a "pager" letting you know when your order is ready. The buffalo parmesan chicken tenders were very good and their service was fast and efficient. That's what you want when you're on a lunch break or in between shopping. Highly recommend trying it out.”

Taste was okay, but not impressive. - BBQ / deep fried: Somehow the food are not warm/hot enough even we ate them right away. Taste were good. - Hotpot (boiled food): Too sour, too much vinegar. Taste okay. - Pot noodles: Too sour, too much vinegar, not the type of noodle we like - won't order again. Overall - Nice to have an addition selection at the food court. Nice part of a food court was to order small portion of food from different vendors.”

The owner Jimmy was top notch, friendly and gave me a great breakdown on the how he started the location, and where he was trying to drive the business. Home cooked food across-the-board. Fresh ingredients and a great atmosphere for a local deli. ( take out only ). I would recommend this place to go again, and I'm looking forward to of seeing what he brings in the future. “Dropped by this place on a whim with my mother. We were greeted by a very welcoming atmosphere, and by two very nice gentlemen. The cook was very nice to us and checked up on us multiple times to make sure we loved the food. We were offered free samples of their Mint Lemonade which was made fresh. Their mint lemonade is stellar and worth the price they charge. The food was made fresh and in a timely manner, and tasted absolutely delightful. The Pita bread was very soft and nice. Their mixed vegetables side was bursting with delicious flavor. My mother got the Cod fish platter and fell in love at first bite. I had the Gyro platter and there was so much food it was overwhelming! But it too was amazing with every bite. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. It's welcoming, inviting, and the food is fantastic.”
