“A great small, family-run business! The Village Market is a great addition to the Towaco / Montville community. The owner and employees are friendly and welcoming and go out of their way to serve customers. The market has a wide variety of prepared foods, grab and go and deli. Of course, they are also well stocked with produce, dairy and other grocery items. Prices are very reasonable, and it’s so convenient to be able to pop in for a couple items versus a trip to the supermarket.”

“Love Jersey Mike’s!! Jersey mikes is very consistent from store to store, so the separation factor is service. And the new Jersey Mikes in Chester is top notch. I use their mobile ordering often and my subs are always there waiting for me as soon as I pull up. Always friendly, always professional. I have to say, I do like to watch when they are busy and watching the crew work hard to crank out sub after sub. It’s like a cold cut symphony. And the memory of some of these people is amazing. “I tried this place because I was really craving Chinese food but wanted something cheap. The dinner combo is excellent. $7 for a good sized portion with the addition of an egg roll and fried rice. I got general Taos and was surprised the chicken wasn't breaded heavily which was nice. I chose mild spicy which basically wasn't spicy at all. I also got wonton soup, steamed dumplings, and lo mein. The house lo mein was a great price for how much you got and there was a good amount of meat in there. The dumplings and soup fall really short though. The dumplings were so thick with such little meat inside it wasn't worth eating. The meat that was actually there was good at least. But to be honest they were overall terrible. The wonton soup dumplings were the same. The broth also tasted instant and not a good home made chicken broth. I would not get these items again but I would definitely go back for their dinner combos because they're cheap. For $22 I'll be eating probably for the rest of the week at least.”

“I recently was out the door to see a friend for a get to gather with my with wife and they were gluten free and we decided to try Dolci D and see what it was like. I picked up 4 small deserts for us to all try and I can not tell you how good they were. My wife was gluten free for years and it is so hard to find a good base for your cheese cake that does not taste like card board. These where AMAZING.. We tried the pumpkin cheese cake the brownie Fluff, the chocolate moose and the Trauma-sue. Each was trulls better than the next. I look forward to going again soon. Even if you are not gluten free this is an amazing place with great prices. In addition you can get all the desserts frozen and save them for a treat! .”

Wish I were more honest, but the food was very average, not worth the price point esp for lunch. The recommended tater tots seemed refried twice and were extremely dense and tough (sauce was good though). The chicken and waffles - waffles were great, but the chicken seemed overdone, stringy and very dry. The kale salad was a lot of work to eat as they did not remove the stems. Would be better if they had a lunch special - like a soup and salad option. Would definitely retry after a few months to see if they work out the issues.”

I have tried a wide variety of the menu and can confidently say that this is not just a typical hotdog joint. The menu is expertly crafted and every item has its own unique perfected flavor. As for the game sausages they are all flavored with amazing spices and ingredients that give each one an amazing signature taste. The pulled pork is outstanding and the jumbo spicy dogs are the best hot dogs I've ever eaten. I highly recommend the Big Kahuna for a taste of both the pulled pork and hotdogs. The owner is a culinary genious and other then the food he is extremely kind and truly cares about the experience he provides his customers. A true hidden gem of the area. Ps. Plus once you are done eating you can walk next door to Cliffs and enjoy a great dessert!”
